For any english students out there, i wish you all the best in your a-level, and as-level, results! Personally I getting my as-level results, hoping for 2 A's and 2 D's (2 subjects I love, maths and electronics, and 2 subjects I loathe, computing and physics)
(For anyone who doesn't live in england, the results are coming out on the 19th)
PS: These exams are the equivilent of whatever americans do at the end of High School (I think)

Don't you mean College? I'm pretty sure you finish High School in America when you hit 16-ish. So it'd be more like GCSEs for High School people.

More like 18. Or 17 for the young'uns.
I'd probably say the American equivalent would be the SAT's or the ACT's.
