I thought the Dev Team was using various 3rd party programs to create all sorts of stuff, including the landscape and what-not, and then importing them into TES:CS to put the mod together.

However, I'm not a Dev myself (obviously) so I could be wrong. blink.gif

I'm pretty sure your right.
BaDoMeN
Your probably right wolf, I just want to know what exactly they have changed?
Will we see fantastic mountain ranges, geographically correct seabeds.
I heard somewhere that the landscapes are actually meshes blink.gif! But I'm not sure if this was idle chatter or dev talk sad.gif!

I use 3D studio max for my modeling. We also use photoshop and various other programs to do some artwork. As far as landscapes go, I'm not exactly sure how its done but I think you are right in saying its done in a 3rd party program other than the TES:CS. However, a lot of work is done in the TES:CS as well.
kfmccall
I use paper...pencils and pens. woohoo.

Contrairy to popular belief, we are in fact designing the landscape of Middle-Earth in Windows Paint.

.... and lego
suzerain
dammit. I told you not to mention the *really* hightech bits we're using.

next you'll be mentioning that the concept art team use big wax crayons and newspaper....

umm. bugger. too late. er.... nothing to see here people. move along....

Most of the actual modeling isn't 3d. It's just stick figures done in paint anyway. Low poly count and all.
Tor_Anders
Yes! Finally a chance for me to impress the team... Where can I send my lego-art? laugh.gif
Icefiddell
Yer and i can do a really crazy crayon drawing tongue.gif
Dunedain

Why won't you reply to this question? wait and see? mellow.gif
suzerain
perhaps because the original question actually had no contextual content whatsoever to answer.

Which editors. what purpose, what content, which areas.

that question is like saying "how long is a peice of string".

Suzerain.

BaDoMeN
... so how long is a piece of string huh.gif?

But really, meshes as landscapes laugh.gif!
