I'm into superheroes, and goddammit is comic books aren't cool.

Thing is, the golden age of comics are gone. They now cost $2 at the grocery store, and I have no diea whats good and what sucks.

Please, help me make my decisions, comics book fans/geeks!

Special note - I dig Spiderman, Superman, Batman, X-men and hell I'll even take JLA. What story arcs are these comics into, and which ones can I easily catch up to?

Thanks in advance,

~Valdir

Well, first, I hate superheros tongue.gif

I recomend you better the new "amerimanga" series like Battle Chasers, Crimson, War Lands, Dark Minds, etc.

The editors are:

- Dreamweave
- Cliffhanger
-

Arg, I can't remember none more tongue.gif

Crimson is GREAT, if you like vampire tales tongue.gif.
Battle Chasers is one of the better drawn series I've seen, but It only has 8 number IIRC.

Punisher.

Friends with the Reaper, kills for fun, and an all around badass.

Get the Born soft cover compilation (a bit mature) and you will fall in love.

(and don't judge the comics on the movie because the movie sucked)

I was thinking more of the weekly comic fodder. The stuff you would see on newstands and stuff.

I haven't been to the grocery store in awhile, so I'm not exactly sure whats best.
