this is my first post and im sry if it buggs some ppl .
i answerd the right name to get into the cave buuuut i cant seem to get the axe. im not doing the main quest right now and am just running around and killing a bunch of stuff . i would also like to know how you un freeze those corpses in the caves... *sigh* im stuck here and would like to know if i need to do the main quest to get that axe because it looks soo kewl and its bugging me because i cant have it. .

if u reply plz dont yell at me for posting this because i wanted an axe

Sincerely, we won't shout. But it is not a good idea to go around grabbing stuff until you know whether it is important to a quest.

The axe is part of a miscellaneous quest around the Mead Hall in Thirsk. However, although miscellaneous it is dependent on you reaching a specific point in the main quest.

Even then you can't get the axe, only touch it.

The amulet beside it is part of an incidental quest starting in Ald Ruhn.

You want a fun weapon, examine the vegetation behind the Mead Hall with care.

Also the stalhrim (use the search for many threads on this) can only be collected if you are doing the EEC faction quests. Speak to Carnius above the Imperial Cult shrine at Fort Frostmoth to join the Faction.

Otherwise you can do nothing with the axe or the stalhrim!

theres peobably a mod somewhere mayking you able to pick it up I have Xbox

To my knowledge you can never actually handle the axe just like that skull in skaal village it cannot be picked up either

the axe is just a scaled up mesh using the scale ratio in the editor. Even if you could pick it up, it would revert to normal size.
