I am havimg trouble with the MW patch. I cannot get it to complete downloading. I have tried it from several different sites (here, summit, official) but i get about 1700kb then it stops. one time i recieved an "save error" message, the other times, nothing. I have tried each site at various times and gotten the same result. has anyone had this problem? would it be easier to have the file emailed to me or have somebody burn it for me? this is the last step for my game to speed it up as i have already edited the game file and boosted my FR by as much as 25-30 at times.

OH GOD ANOTHER? i got that problem also, it makes it so i cant use and plugins i want, all need the newer patchs =(

really?? how bizarre! ive never heard of this b4. the fact that u cudnt download it from one place well maybe it got corrupted but from a number of other places as well??

all i can offer is my patch that i downloaded a while ago, it updates to version 1.2.0722, it worked for me. im not sure if thats the latest normal morrowind patch or not, also its for european ones only so if ur version is american it wont work... here it is:

The only thing I might ask is, can you download other files (anything) without problems?

Have you cleaned, defrag'ed and run scandisk lately? Could (could!) be a hard disk problem. Not likely, but possible. If you can download other large files without problems though, I think you could rule that out as well.

ugh. switch, tripod won't let me get the file. oh, nevermind - i didn't see the note that it was europe. thank you for trying, but i need the US patch.
right now (1pm EST) i am 99% unfrag, and as for scandisc, i run it about every 4 days, last time was yesterday. so far i have not had a problem downloading any other files or using plugins. it's just real confusing that all the sites cut off at approx the same point. i checked aval. mem just as an idiot check, but that 3.8 meg file should fit somewhere in my 14 gigs of unused space.
i suppose that i can go on living without the patch, but what's the use if i have a version of MW thats not the top.

Wow... the only other thing I could think of to do then would be to call the Bathesda Tech Support line... I'm pretty sure the number is in the back of the manual.

neways, the fact that it cuts off at the same point... u cud try emptying the temporary internet files folder and temp as it could be something 2 do with that. probably pretty unlikely tho... so if that doesnt work just call bethesda
