Just wondering which is better or more fun, being a werewolf or not. I am leaning towards not being one because then i loose all my abilities and stats i've worked so hard for. But just wanted another opinion.

You don't lose the abilities permanently while you are a werewolf- they are merely temporarily decreased. Your werewolf skills are only active while you are in wolf form, and are removed (and your regular stats restored) when you make the transformation back to man or mer.

I'll say that being a werewolf is a whole lot easier, and a whole lot harder. You don't have to fight all the werewolves in the final levels, but you are faced with a number of Skaal hunters and trackers that are armed with silver weapons, which do double damage on werewolves.

You do not get to reap the rewards (armor and weapons) of the enemies you kill as a werewolf you do as a human, although there are no rewards on the bodies of the dead werewolves you kill.

Being a werewolf can be a huge downside, as you are not allowed to pick up items, cast spells, or access your inventory. And hiding as soon as the sun sets can really be a drag after a while, although there is a cure quest, as there is for vampirism.

If you want fun, I'd suggest becoming a werewolf (the dreams are pretty cool). If you want regular functionality like you regularly do, stay as a human.

or better yet have two seperate save files, one as a warewolf and one being normal. Works for me, when I feel like hacking people to death I play the warewolf save. holloween.gif

It's all up to the player.

Being a werewolf helps to kill some of the end-game monsters
