As someone who is only half way through MW, Im curious to know if you can start the Tribunal quests ( or even Bloodmoon ) and return at any time to Morrowind.
If so, does that mean you can 'hop' between MW,Tribunal and Bloodmoon at your leisure?

Yes.
Well, what else is there to say?
If you do the EEC quests in Bloodmoon, there are quite long in-game waits between them. From quest one to the completion of the Factor's Estate is at least three weeks, maybe longer. So you can hop back to MW or Mournhold.
In BM Divine Intervention takes you to Fort Frostmoth, Solstheim.
Almsivi Intervention takes you to Gnisis Temple.
In Trib both keep you in Mournhold; palace and temple respectively.
Recall will take you anywhere you have marked.
BTW the difficulty of the games is set a little higher than MW, particularly if you are roaming the countryside in BM. You may wish to prepare for this. However the first couple of quests - Main and EEC - are easy.

In the ending part of BM though (about 75%-100%) be prepared for the level 50 werewolves. They may not seem very tough but they sure can destroy your armor (mainly shields) very quickly.

One of the few times you cant recall is when you are in Dagoth Ur's Citadel, and you cant levitate in Mournhold because you "might" see over the walls, even though it is impossible to see over them without a glitch or a cheat. However, NEVER use the cheat for more than a few seconds. I have broken many a quest doing that because the people walked into the walls and I couldnt find them, so I gave up and took up the life of saving, killing everyone, then loading and killing them a different way and repeating once again. Ok, here I am rambling on again =oP
Yes, you can skip around doing any quests you want, whenever, I think. But you have to be either level 3 or 6 to go to Mournhold. I cant remember. *smacks head repeaditly* damn poor memory...

Thanks for all the advice, next stop Mournhold.

You can get to Mournhold after the DB attack. I don't think it is affected by level since the attacks are random.
Adras, AFAIK you can use recall from Dagoth Ur. The only time it should not be used is after you have destroyed the heart and killed him. If you don't walk out you don't get to meet Azura and the quest is not completed until you do.
I did something like this the first time I played recalling to the Urshilaku Camp and finding nobody accepted that I had done anything.
(This is apparently also a glitch in some versions but not on mine.)
I had to go back to a previous save and do it properly!

Actually, I think he's right, Malchik. The second time you face Dagoth, when you walk in and he calls you a fool, etc., he says something to the effect that Recall, Almsivi, and Divine Intervention don't work in this place. After he's dead, they do, but not while he's still alive.

You mean when you have entered the heart chamber? You could be right. I never stop to look at what he's saying, too busy whacking the heart. You can recall before you enter the heart chamber. I have on occasion 'killed him' outside the heart chamber fairly early in the game to get his amulet/ring, whichever it is, and then left Dagoth Ur until I had the necessary means to dispose of the heart. I'm certain you don't need to walk out.
So, to clarify Adras's statement; you cannot cast recall once facing Dagoth Ur in the Heart Chamber. Is that it?
Is the same true for in the final conflicts of Bloodmoon and Tribunal too? Or can you cast 'mark' and use it with the intervention spells? It's not something I've ever tried.

I'm pretty sure Tribunal is like that. The Mazed Band is the only thing you can use to escape in the end.

As far as I know, the ONLY way to get out of the Clockwork Ciity, or at least Sotha Sil's Dome, is the Mazed Band.
I believe you only cant use recall while fighting him (Dogoth Ur) the second time.
