I think they are supposed to be under vivec but where exactly and how do i get there. Also are they worth exploring?
Malchik
It's all a big confidence trick, unless you download the puzzle canal mod. It is under Vivec's palace as almost every NPC will tell you. Since the palace is locked look for a way in from the outside (there are many of them). The sewers have five levels and the entrance to the puzzle canal itself is in the very middle.

If you need more I'll have to move this to spoilers.
grismo
is what you just told me with or without the mod cause i play the xbox version

Without.

i`ve done the pilgrimage and the puzzle canal shrine is my last, i found it, got the sil/longsword, no-one to give it to? what have i missed?
Arrow_Diet
You have to give it to the daedric person-thingy-majig.....
There is shrine that tells you something along the lines of, "Breath the lord's glory" which is their way of saying "drown yourself" hop into the water and drown (about 1/4 health) untill you hear a noise and your screen flashes for a moment (I think you get full health too... not sure)

They'll be a new walk way to a shrine, give it to the daedric person-thingy-majig and he'll give a very small and sarcastic speech and you can get "the blessing" Water Breathing and Swift Swim... w00t?
Switch
Just a minor correction to that: you do actually have to drown I'm pretty sure. So go into the water, run out of air, and let your health drain completely. Once it hits 0 your health will be restored and the way will open.
snaggletooth
thanx,i shall try this!
Adras
Or just grab a levitate potion and float across. Less time, and you dont have to worry about a glitch happening and it doesnt restore your health.
Malchik
Adras, I don't know whether your version is different but I don't have anything to float across and I always go into thet part of the game with an item of constant levitate.

In my version you have to drown. Are you sure yours gives you a choice?
Adras
I know in the players guide it says that you can levitate across the water canal or whatever it is. All that happens if you drown yourself is a bridge appears I believe. Just levitate across the gap where the bridge appears. Unless drowning yourself opens a door or something also...
Malchik
Yes, it clears some sort of force field or barrier out of the way. Perhaps the notes are a bit misleading.
Switch
Yeah, it actually removes an entire wall. So unless you have phase levitation or use TCL, I'm afraid you're gunna have to drown. tongue.gif
DreamOfTheRood
Once again, the Christological influence comes to play.
