Well, it WOULD have been easier if you had just cured yourself of it before it got worse, but I think there is a cure... I'm not sure.
In the second book of the "Vampires Of Vvanderfall (sp?)" it mentions Maar Gan's temple to the source of a lot of vampires that arn't any more. So... I'm not sure, check Maar Gan's Temple out, see what happens when you pray at it's rock and stuff.. and see what you can find out.
As far as I know, you're pretty much screwed if you didn't cure yourself of the common disease BEFORE it changed you.
EDIT:
If you don't already know. You have to have some Speechcraft skill to pray at the Maar Gan rock. You need to taunt the Daedric person-thingy into attacking you before you can pray there.
...

and be sure to kill it.

And for future reference, when you search try changing the time frame in the search options.... the default is set at 30 days and newer, and won't find any topics older than that.

Before getting cured do the vampiric quests, they give you good loot. To get cured go to the Daedric Shrine of Bal Ur and activate the statue of Molag Bal.

if you end all the clan missions you can get cured
bad luck thoug when you werent infected by a clan member

AFAIK all vampires are clan members, even the 'rogues' like Marara and Merta belong to a clan (Berne I think).
The only problem could be that you kill your quest prospects before you become a vampire. Worst is if you do the temple quest to clear Galom Daeus and then become a member of Clan Berne. You will have lost the guy who gives you quests. PC players can however resurrect him I believe.
There are still seven miscellaneous vampiric quests you can do as well as the quest to be cured.

If he's running one of the more popular vampire mods, it adds wandering and wild vampires that randomly spawn in the wilderness.... I don't think they are part of a clan, though I could be wrong.

It is more likely that those vampires are either not actually clanless or do not have the ability to infect the PC. It takes quite a bit of work and some impressive scripting to create a new vampire clan (and yes, this can only be done via scripting), and just as much to create a clanless vampire that can infect the PC.

If you don't know which one you are, go along to the three headquarters. Two groups will attack, the other will not.

You probably mean Marara, found in an ancestral tomb accessible through the cave Shallit. You can be bitten and see the icon for the disease flash on and off. Only if you get the journal update and the icon as permanent have you got the disease.
Marara is as I said earlier Clan Berne and so you would be part of Clan Berne.
The other rogue vampires (Merta, Mastrius and Irarak) are all in ancestral tombs.
You have to leave the disease untreated for three days and then rest before becoming a vamp. AFAIK you will not become a vampire until you rest so you can continue doing quests after the three days. However as the infection sets in, you will find some characters' dialogue will not let you do quests. This is particularly true if you are trying to do the main quest.
BTW it helps to have completed the propylon plug in or obtained the propylon indices if you don't have the plug in. They are the only means of teleportation available to a vampire. Coupled with Divine and Almsivi Intervention and a judiciously placed Mark, you can get about the land very quickly.

I have a very odd and annoying bug. I'm currently a Quarra vampire on the xbox GOTY version. I've done the first mission which is to kill a renegade vamp. I come back to the head quarra vampire to get another mission, and she tells me to get some raw materials so she can make amulets for her minions. Now "raw materials" is in blue bold during the conversation, but "raw materials" does not appear in the topic list, and no other topic helps me determine what the raw materials are. So i looked up this mission (kinda cheated there) and found all the raw materials and headed back to the Quarra vampire hoping that once i found the actual materials i would be able to talk to her about it. No luck there. So it seems i'm permanently stuck at my mission standing with the Quarra's.
Can anyone fill me in on any info. they might have with this? I'd be really grateful.

Hmm. I suppose given the thread title it is acceptable although it is a bit hijacky IMO.
Dinin, I think if you use the search button you will find this has been raised before. Some versions of the game have bug with the Quarra Vampire quests (mine does). You can only fix it on PC using a cheat. I assume you can't fix it at all on xbox.
To be honest neither this quest nor the unscripted final quest for Quarra are very interesting and the rewards are poor.
There are seven miscellaneous quests to do. Do these, then get cured and go back and kill off the Quarra because they were so unhelpful!
