Now enchanting items is quite an amazing feature we all know... feel free to brag about any incredible and absolutely insane items you've craeted...lets see how powerful you guys really are...

- Amulet of God = Fire Dmg 45, Frost Dmg 45, Shock Dmg 45 In Max Distance on Target, could use it 8 times before it ran out
- Devil's Sword of Fire = Daedric Longsword w/ 45-65 fire dmg on impact

heh i know that it's not that good, and i know you guys have some overwhelming stuff, bring it on.
Jaflarion
how is it u enchant with soul gems? when i press Enchant on an NPC and chose a daedric thing or something and a Grand Soul Gem with a Golden Saint in it theres no effects showed or anything... plz explain smile.gif
eva999
you have to add the effects from a list on the right i think you gotta know a similar spell to do enchantments (a fire damage spell would let you enchant with fire damage, but its just what i think) i made a super rigged enchantment with rigged darts that let me throw daedric darts that blew up on impact heh heh
Hir_Nesta
I made myself a Daedric Battle axe of healing. 5-10 points of healing per second per slash. usable ca 30 times

i hardly died.... happy.gif

Jaflarion, use the search button to find out how to enchant an item. First however you can't use any NPC you must have an Enchanter (Galbedir in the Mages Guild Balmora will do).

Well, on an old character I enchanted a full set of Daedric armour with Raise Heavy Armour, including the shield. All 1-max. So for instance 1-84 on the shield. Just kept equipping and unequipping until I got an insanely high rating from all of them. 722 AR was the highest I ever managed with 100 Heavy Armor skill. tongue.gif Pretty damn powerful, cost me about 300k to make the whole set. Totally unbalancing too of course tongue.gif, I could kill Vivec on maximum difficulty without much trouble.

that's a really good idea, what about if you made something that constantly healed you or replenished your fatigue that would be sweet, however cost an insane amount

I had a 1 hp for 67 seconds on a bonemold curiass. EXTREME REGEN

How do you rig the enchantments to go over the enchantment value for the item - and what's the best material for holding the most enchantment? I'm using Ebony longswords at the moment since they look pretty hot - but I'm willing to change if I can get better enchantments with other items.

I like the Ebony Broadsword too happy.gif
As far as the enchant value question, nope, the number is there to stay. I LOVE using the exquisite jewlrey to get my skills or attirbutes where I need them. In fact, my main character (which IS a moogle) has a house full of rings that boost stats, whether it be temporary or constant.

It's really all about what you feel is good for you. I wouldn't DARE waste a golden saint soul on a healing enchantment. I just find constant healing to be a unbalancing piece of ****.

Possibility...an item's enchantability is permanent, but if you fortify your enchant skill...
the amount taken by a given effect might go down...can't experiment at the moment,
as I don't have my computer with me. Any thoughts, tests, or experiences?

If your not too picky about what type the weapon is then the best enchant for a weapon is 90, thats on the ebony staff. By my experience thats WAY too much enchant for a weapon, the enchantments you put on it wear out in like 2-4 hits, mind you they are CRAZY hits, I once made one with something like absorb health 100 for 3 seconds. Give or take a few. However in tribunal the ebony scimitar is introduced and that thing has 80 enchant, this is the BEST weapon there is in my opinion, good damage, great enchant, one handed, and it looks badass. However if you dont have any expansions the best weapons for normal damage and enchant are: daedric staff, daedric dia katana, daedric battlehammer, daedric battle axe. They all have 21 enchant I believe. With my original character I had absorb health 100 for 1 second on strike (on touch). Slap that effect of a daedric bh and you'll have a godkiller on your hands... AND USE GOLDEN SAINT SOUL GEMS... never skip useing anything but the best on your enchantments! And while we are on the subject of grand soul gems, just so it doesnt come up no you cannot buy grand soul gems unless you have the tribunal expansion. In the expansion however you can buy them in the craftsmans hall on the second level. That should cover everything... bleh.gif

P.S. Yes Abramul uping your enchant does help to lower the space enchantments take, and haveing a higher skill in the school of magic your enchantment is in also lowers it. But no the limit cannot be exceded
eva999
whistling.gif you could always use the TESCS to rig a weapon with an insanely high enchant but thats cheating................................... bleh.gif

Okay I once wanted to over enchant stuff too or just plain take those uber unique items and give them a better look without mucking around with the construction editor so i got in touch with this guy that made a nifty tool.

It basically lets you change the enchantments on items to insane values. With this i made a 5000 constant shield enchantment (naturally that was only a test of its abilities i wasnt seriously going to use it)

I attached this little tool to my post and hopefully it'll help you guys who want to go over the enchantment values like i once did without going into the editor.

By the way on topic i made a nasty enchantment on a daedric dia katana something like absorb 54 health on strike. So its overkill on most guys but those high ordinators in tribunal WOW they can take quite a few good whacks of it before they go down hehehe.

in my experience 50% of his posts are pointless.

anyway, i think CE summon creature/humanoid enchantments are cool. maybe you can get a whole suit of exquisit clothes enchanted with different monsters and walk around with a crew! cool!
VG_King
Try the ebony scimitar (found on high ordinators). Not only it is a powerful weapon, you can also put very good enchantments on it.
