My background:
Raised by my Great Grandmother in Texas, moved around the country quite a bit. College educated. Had a criminal record which barred me from the military after 9/11 so I became a private contractor, which by contract, I can't really talk about. I can say I've successfully guarded some high profile targets, have sustained several severe injuries, and have endured six surgeries, with one more (hopefully final) scheduled in August 2009. I've lost several friends in combat, both military and civillian, and seen twice that number crippled.
I am a nihilistic male without a father, instilled in my early years by (lol) Flowers for Algernon and Old Yeller.

I tend to be blunt.
I do not like repeating myself.

You know, or will come to know my various stances on issues as time goes by. Most of you will disagree with my ideology. That is fine.

The purpose of this thread is comical value, and a redirection of your personal attacks in other threads to this one. Flame me all you want here.

I also do not mind being a stand-in for any person who has pissed you off today. We all know the world is full of idiots. Feel free to take it out on me.

Lastly, have a nice day. There's always someone worse off than you. Right now, somewhere in the world, someone is on fire. That guy (or gal) is having a bad day. Right now, somewhere in the world, some innocent person has just been sentenced to life in prison or death for a crime they did not commit. That feller's havin' a bad day.

Edit: This is a debatable topic as there may be one or two people who disagree with the consensus. Emphasis on the may. I wholeheartedly believe however that the vast majority of people will view me as an ass.

You seem to think you're far more important than you are. You're not the only one around here who has served his/her country, there are quite a few in and out of uniform, and yet, we still have a quite diverse view of what is what. I'm not surprised you're from Texas, you shouldn't be surprised I'm from back east.

I don't really care to share much of my reasons for my beliefs, I know they're valid, because I'm also college educated and just happen to watch C-Span every morning instead of that other drivel. If my tv's on, it's on CSpan in fact. Or indulging in Nova or the History Channel.

I think the great majority of people are much like sheep, but I don't blame them for it, I understand all the history and the dysfunction that led us to here.

I don't know you, no offense and truly nothing personal, but I don't want to know you. I have a full life filled with real people, and when I'm online I'm doing my own hermit thing, so I can be fully available to them again when I'm with them. I'm just trying to say that you're taking it all too hard. Relax and stop trying to jam your thoughts up our butts. We get where you're coming from, we've heard it before and we considered it just as erroneous and inaccurate then. I know what SPIN is, and I can see the grass is green even when someone insists it's blue.
