A few updates today...

First of all a cap has now been put on all downloads. From this point on we no longer host any new files larger than 2MB, except for those mods which are already in the database. A notice has been put up on the uploader script to compliment this.

Secondly I've reintroduced registering to download from the database in order to keep leeching down, and hopefully stop the individuals who enjoy entering false or empty entries into the database. Registration is free - complete with complimentary goat from Suzerain's farm and pie from my kitchen. Flaming optional.

Sweet I never knew that the forced forum registry thing was taken away. But now that it's added again hopefully it will help cut back on the bogus downloads thanks Dark0ne.

Yes its hard to believe ppl would try and send u a bug thru such a enjoyable past time as playing MW Well call me stupid but when can we access the data base again for downloads i fudge one i need a replacement

Of course Dark0ne will host MEMod. Though due to the recent script addition, it will have to be uploaded in incriments of 2mb.

Don't be silly. Memod will be getting hosting with just the mod on it. Several thousand people downloading a 2GB file is rather scary for a webhost.

If you have a look at www.memod.co.uk you will find that it says "Site Host: Dark0ne", just as you will find MEMod under the list of "Hosted Mods" under www.mwsource.com, which shows us ... right, MEMod is supplied with both webspace and bandwidth by MWSource, respectively Dark0ne.

It might take a while to download.

~2 gigs? Yeah, even with broadband.
