I have a quality nord, named Esara. She is amazing, and nords are i think the greatest fighters. who cares if you dont do well with swords. hammers and axes are better anyway. They also have great helps like anti frost and 50% resist to shock and no weakness to fire. oh yea.

yeah i have a new theme character, a lvl 11 Nord Warlord, he has Chrysamere and full ebony armor cept for Lords Mail and Mask of Clavicus Vile. I'll soon get the Oreyn (spl) Bearclaw helm if i ever get around to playing the game again (these rediculous glitches drive me away). also i have no daedric armor cuz i decided he shouldnt steal to make the game more interesting and less uber.

I saw someone post about a nord that he/she had, and I had to copy them cause it was a great idea! So here it is, my nord that I got from someone else:

This is actually an extremely fun character to play. No clothes or armor, except maybe boots and gauntlets/bracers which are light armor, uses a massive battleaxe, preferably a nordic silver battleaxe from bloodmoon, eats muck and other unedible things like alit hide and druegh wax, and slays all the baddies!

He actually moves very fast because nords are tall, and the nordic pluses in axe and their strength make him a hard-hitting fighter with his battleaxe. Try it!

How dare you say that about axes and warhammers!!! I am a level 9 Nord with my long blade above 90!!!

Anyone who thinks otherwise better consult with my level 1000 Nord, Fyron with 10,000 health, 300 magicka, 570 fatigue, and 350 armor rating. And I swear that I haven't cheated.

The main reason i like Nords is because:
1. They look cool...(Some are funny)
2. They are very resistant to some magicks.
3. They have a lot of HP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well let's see. I chose a Nord because they were the least ugly. So I guess I'm a fan by process of elimination. My Nord kills most things with one mighty swing.

Most people think that the Argonians are the ugliest race. Personally, I love Argonians. They might be my favorite race. I think either Dark Elves or Bretons are the best-looking.

I can't stand mages... they are totally just... bad in this game. Many other games Mages or magic users are the best, but not here. Nords are so far the best race for warriors, and with warriors a good race to be, I have a feeling they are over the top good.

Although, I haven't even leveld with my Nord, Vladimir (), hes been able to pick up some imperial armor, buy a nice axe, and so much. Although, next time I make a character (on a new computer I plan to get), I plan to help my speechcraft.

Its been a while since I played a Nord, I experimented with a Dunmwer wizard and Redgaurds, but my favorite Nord Charecter was a leval 30some warrior becaume a vampire and went around randomly killing people and got rid of his artifact Mosque of Clovicus Vile in favor of a gondolier's hat, cause they just look that cool.

My current main character is a lv 48 Nord. I enjoy nords the most because I belive melee is the way to go.

Anyway, I don't think that Nords are GOOD mages... but i played my nord as an combat archer\mage. Magic and marksman with mild weapon skills for up close. Magic was saved for support. So i figured, Nord's are stupid, they need more magicka to make a good mage. So i chose the atronoch (sp?... i've been playing for over a year, and i still can't spell that...) birthsign. I found out that a nord with:

50% spell absorbtion
100% Resist Frost
50% Resist Shock
and a magicka bonus... (dullsville... with unlimited magicka regeneration through threads (Magical trinkets of tamriel vIII) i didn't NEED the extra magicka, but it was useful...)

MY nord could kick some fricking MAGE A**!!!!!!!!!!!! If you will notice, the Nord is in and of itself, unbalanced, as the MOST common spell i see (and get hurt by, now that im playing a beast-race: Tartarian...) is FROST. now are nords immune to frost? HECK YEAH! If they get hit by another spell, are they gonna get hurt? NOT MUCH!!!!! They either halve the damage (shock) or nullify ALL damage/effects. (spell absorb.)
So i discovered that the Atronoch is a good sign for fighters! Especially weak ones who have to fight a bunch of mages! This is even more unbalanced in Tribunal, as the entire dark brotherhood has a fondness for frost spells. I saw 4-5 flying at me at once when i stopped the attacks, and i dread going back with a creature who has no resist frost. (or, like the tartatian, has 100% WEAKNESS to frost....) Face it people, Nord's rule, at EVERYTHING they do. They do WONDERS with a dwemer crossbow... (I can testify to this. Killed a fabricant without taking a lick of damage.)

Plus, my first game winner was a female nord!!!!!
