>Argonian thief<
No wait a sec this topic isnt totally useless.
Does anybody have any recomdations as to what controllers i should be using. this one that just broke was a pelican elclispe. ive used a mad cats one as well and that lasted for a few months. Ive also used some other weird one called intense or somthing.

any ideas?

Sounds like you just got unlucky.

I've put my original Xbox controllers (the DUKES) through hell in the past seven months, and they still work perfectly.

A tad bit greasy though...

I really enjoy the Controller S put out by Microsoft.

They are the highest quality controllers on the market and the most comfortable. (out of any console)

The price is worth what you get. 10/10

I just use the plain controllers. They work fine and arnt that hard to hold. Plus i didnt feel like buying new-fangled ones... although i heard about one new controller with a built in fan to cool your hands... Sounds good to me biggrin.gif
UberBender
The one with the built in fan can not use the Live headset because it uses the extra power for the fans.

Just thought you might like to know that in case you're considering buying one.
>Argonian thief<
well you see i would buy controolers with fans built in and everything but theres 2 things stoping me.

1. i dont know were to get one and a trip to fargo right now seems alittle out of the question.

2. im broke! i can hardly afford to race BMX tomorrow. todays monday i dont get paid till friday and im trying to save up for a new comp.
UberBender
Do you have 17 bucks?
>Argonian thief<
nope right now i only have 15$ dollars and BMX is tomorrow so that will eat up some money as well.

EDIT: ok i found somthing out. the controller isnt completely broken, it only wokrs half the time. so i get it to work and feel good about myself for about 5 minutes then it cuts out again. Has this ever happened to anyone? Is somthing maybe wrong with the cable? Ive noticed no ones said anything for 2 days so any help will be greatly apprieciated

thanks!

i have one of thgose really small "Micro-con" controllers. i have had it about 6 months and thrown it, hit it, dropped it, and done a lot of other things to it and it works fine. try one of those.

Try opening it up (unscrew all the screws and pop it open) and look inside. Some of the membranes or wires may have popped out of thier origional places.
>Argonian thief<
yeah i was going to open it up like i did to all my other controllers but sadly..... i lost the only screwdriver i had that fits into the tinys holes...oh god....

*locks self in room and crys*
UberBender
go buy a computor screwdriver set at you local Radio Shack for $5.00
>Argonian thief<
lol i didnt know they sell screw drivers at radio shack. but now that i think about it.... *dammit*

o well for now im borrowing my friends controller, but ill be the type of friend to let him have the pleasure of me using his controller for a very long period of time biggrin.gif

I especially like the one where your thumbs never leave the joysticks. Forgot what it was called... but its layout is completly different. im the only one of my friends who can use it effectivly. I still like my S-type best, though...

Breton Thief Oriana
