hey, how in the world do i get ebony mail. i read around i can see that it exist, but i haven't found where it is yet. it sounds strong too with a constant effect of 75% resist fire and a 50 pt shield. anyway just hoping some one could help me out.

Normal ebony mail comes unenchanted, just like any other armor..... You must have heard about some particular piece that has that enchantment.

where might i find the "normal" ebony mail?

Get to rank 7 (Diviner) by doing Temple quests and comeplete all of Endryn Llethan's quests, and he'll give you the key to meet with the Temple Archcanon Tholeri Saryoni in the High Fane. Talk to him and he will give you the quest The Pilgrimages of the Four Corners. Comeplete them as he tells you (he tells you everything you need to know about the quests). Now comeplete more Temple quests so you get to the 8th rank (Master). Now talk to Tholeri Saryoni again and he'll ask you to go to Assarnibibi, the birth place of Almalexia, and perform a ritual there to get the Ebony Mail. All you have to do is get to Assarnibibi, and then touch the shrine and you'll get the Ebony Mail. Present it to Tholeri Saryoni and he will retire, let you become the Patriarch of the Temple, and let you keep the Ebony Mail.

There are also quite a few other places to get it. Another that I recall is during the main quest, while becoming hortator of the Great Houses, you can get everything but the Helm, IIRC.

*sighs* They said Ebony Mail. Not Ebony Armor. It's a goddamn piece of enchanted armor made by the gods. It's enchanted with shield 50 points and resist fire 75%. Look at WhiteKnight's post. It mentions that it's enchanted with shield 50 points and resist fire 75%. Does any of the Ebony Armor have that enchantment. NO. I can't take much more of this *hits head on wall*.

Damn, man, chill..... Sorry, I've never seen (or heard of) ebony mail, and misread it to mean ebony armor, hence my 1st post up there. I was wrong.

Isnt there only plain ebony armor. I have not especially tried to find ebony Mail. If someone actually knows where it is it would be cool. Other then the temple quests.

There is no way to get the Ebony Mail besides the temple quests. Unless you use the console, which would be cheating
