I would really enjoy if the admin could increase the size of the avatars... Having it boosted to 150-200 would be really...um, cool? I think these 64 ones are wayyyy to small...and I'm getting sick of this fist avatar, and I don't have any other ones of that size.
Is this a limitation by the type of board you are using?

No, it's a limit of the "not wanting to have the page overwhelmed with pictures" feature. Just like the limit on signiature sizes that you're ignoring.
If avatars get much bigger than 65x65 pixels they start to look ugly. And they can begin to distort the layout of the pages too if they get too big... hence the rules

Avatar sizes won't be changing, but your signature size must change else you'll be getting a change to the "I love t3h goats" sig image. Your choice.
