Everytime i ask someone about the dreaded puzzle canal they tell me how its filled with daedra and how its so big and dangerous. So i decided to investigate and there were no daedra, only pitiful rats, and no maze. Ive not done the main quest and so i dont know if the canal has anything to do with it or vivec, so could someone please enlighten me as to why Puzzle canal is so overated. :angry:

the puzzle canal is one of the final pilgrimages u make in the course of the temple quests and please oh please dont ask me to go into detail so many people have asked about it and wtf it's for just search on the forums for "puzzle canal" and u shud find a post with some info

basically its just a glorified sewer system with no good loot or monsters to fight

a lot of peopli in the game tell me that. the only monster was the daedra you have to give the sword to after you drown yourself

Monsters? In the Puzzle Canal? Well, unless you attack the Dremora, there's only rats.... And the horror of wandering through endless tunnels!!!! AAHHH!! THE HORROR!!!

The only good part about it is that its required in the Temple.

Monsters? The only monsterous thing is the navigation (pen and paper handy here, although may be better now you can add notes stuff to the map). A few rats thats it, don't even think they are diaseased rats

Yeah, the dudes in the library told me the horrible monster story too, and I was VERY dissapointed when I went there myself, but hey, there are other things to do so I won't waste my time crying.

I CAN'T GET PAST THE BARRIER IN THE PUZZLE CANAL AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH . hOW DO YOU GET PAST IT WITH OUT DOING A QUEST.

There is a mod that adds a bunch of daedra to it I think.
