I know it's not original, but I'd have to say Balmora. You spend so much time there, and can "acquire" some nice homes to store all of your loot (Nerano Manor, anyone?). Or if you don't like to get homes that way, there are a ton of mods to add houses to, yep, Balmora.

i would vote balmora only i think that suran wins because 1: it's only slightly smaller 2: the trees and whatnot spread throughout the city make it feel very mediterranean and 3: i just think it has an overall welcoming feel to it over balmora, but besides suran balmora comes in a close second

I voted for Ald'Ruhn simply because I love that whole Emperor Crab/Under-Skar thing... It just kills me that the whole Manor District is under a giagantic crab-shell.

Vivec would be my second choice. So much to do, so much to see... So many vaults to raid and Ordinators to kill.

i have 2 say caldera... its the only real village in the entire game and looks nice, plus it has the creeper!

Sadrith Mora...as a Telvanni I feel so welcome there :lol:

Wolverine Hall is a useful place to 'intervene' to, there are useful services...and I like Telvanni architecture - in particular the interior of the council hall.

Ald-Ruhn for me, as I live in Venim Manor. under Skar.

Balmora, for the general architecture style.

I like Ald-ruhn cos its so convenient to travel to and the mages guild there has plenty of storage space.

Seems Balmora is the place to be. I like it coz that's where bob is. Bless that man. Also if you are Hlaalu your house is nice and close to it. (As if the airship). Balmora through and through. :lol:

Balmora for me, great early on and easy to get to loads of places, lots of guilds. At high enough levels you can even jump over the river rather than use the bridge

dont like ald'ruhn cuz of the occasional ash (but I made a mod that makes nicer weather everywhere), so Caldera, cuz I love the nord-style houses, and of course, by best buddy Creeper (I made another mod that gave him a million gold and made it so he'd buy anything)

Definately Balmora. It's just my kind of place.

Well, in the Original Morrowind, I like several places. Caldera, Pelagiad, and Dagon Fel, because I'm a sucker for Imperial architecture, and Ald'Ruhn because of the Manor District -- under Skar itself is hideously fugly, but the manors and especially the manor chambers kick ass. :-) Ebonheart is cool for the same reason, but I wish it had more houses.

Now, in Cixe's unnofficial expansion (not released to the public outside of GameFAQs exactly yet), I love Isorfiriand. Perhaps because it's ALL in beautiful rich imperial design, perhaps because they have a tavern named after me in it. :-)

Not really, I like Tel Branora, just because Therana lives there and she's possibly as mad as me. Telvanni architecture is the best.

can i pick Galom Daerus? its really cool and has vampires and cattle that live there. and even better is that they are stealth vampires, the way vampires are supposed to be. plus they taught me how to make my own dwemmer animunculli, which is really neat.

ok, then i'll vote gnisis. they have their own little nature trail where there are guar and other wildlife that try to kill you. really neat. and they also have an eggmine, houses built into the walls of a mountain, and lots of secrets (like the velothian tower where a rougue telvanni lives).

The bird from hell has already voted, sadly.... and before your project existed. So I can not praise the glory of what Suran will become.

You can't deny that Sadrith Mora is the best town out there. The fruitfull hills are reason enough to put this town in first place.
