I'm on the quest to find out about a Conspiracy Against the Emporer for the Imperial Legion in Gnisis.

I am currently at the stage where I must kill the two guys, Oritius Maro and the other guy. I have killed the other guy, but when it comes to killing Oritius I have a problem. When he dies I get arrested for murder, and I dont have the money to pay the fine. Even if I let him hit me first, I still get a bounty on me. Please help :\ (P.S. This quest is in my journal so I don't think i've missed out anything!)

Did you make sure that the hit actually landed and he didn't miss?... Apart from that it shouldn't happen like that... you could try leading him into a closed off area where you can kill him and no-one will see?

Check your bounty before you attack again... maybe someone saw you kill the other guy?

If you find no way out, do the worst, most terrible, horrible thing ever... cheat...

Give yourself enough money to pay the bounty after he is killed. Just make sure you drop everything before you are forced to pay so you don't lose any personal belongings.

If you kill the guy in the shrine first, the other two cultists will automatically attack you, therefore meaning that you won't get a bounty.
