Hey there, this isn't really a rp thread, or actually, it is, but it ain't a normal rp where you run around killing things all the time, this is a thread about everyday life, you know, visiting your grandma and stuff like that, if your character has a grandma, that is.

Character info
I'm not going to ask any real info about your character, except the following:
Gender of your character, AKA sex of your character.
Race of your character, it's the ordinary races from morrowind and I thought I would add Dwarves, so it's ok to be a small man with an axe.
Class of your character, simply tell me if you'r a mage, a swordsman, a ranger with a bow, or whatever you choose.
That's it, more info will hopefully come out during the adventure.

Scenery and getting into the game
Now, this takes place in the some world wich I'm not sure of yet, but I will update this post, believe me, starting outside the stinking barfly tavern, I only have to figure out where the tavern is located.. and if you want to join, simply post here and I will figure out a way to get you into playing, this thread starts with a journey from the tavern to my character's(Élsúch) hometown, and with me I brought Chunky Moose's character Has-Big-Axe. i'll update this post as soon as we decide about it, feel free to help(anyone knows if the tavern is placed in the morrowind world?). it it turns out that it doesn't fit to play in that world, or it is illegal to use that scene, then I will change it and make a new one up myself, but the rules I stated still apply. If you want to join the adventure, then I, or we, will figure out a way to meet up with your character during the adventure.

Rules, what is nono, and what is ok?
Power-posing.
No power-posing is allowed, for those who ahve no clue about what powerposing is, it is when your character manages to do exactly everything by himself/herself, to state an example; Fred picks up his über bow of über powers and kills 25 giants with a single shot, after that, he uses magic to destroy the biggest town ever, bigtown(I'm not good at making up names), that causes everybody to think he's a god. Now THAT is powerposing, none of that, please.

Keep to your class.
If you choose to be a Dwarf with an axe, then keep being a dwarf with an axe all the time. Everybody knows that Dwarves with huge strength aren't fitted to use magic, right?

Don't own your buddies, wouldya?
Ok if you're an assassin, but don't simply type tha you killed someone and nobody saw it, that is also powerposing.

Don't destroy the feeling by being rude and saying that you hate everyone, please.

I'm going to go read the rules three times over and over, just to make sure I'm not braking them and then I'll come back to edit this post to give you the full info about it. Simply sign up here, post the info I required, and you're in the game!

BTW, if any admin reads this, tell me if I'm breaking any rules that I haven't noticed yet, and I'm going to change everything that's not ok. Well I'm off to read me some rules.

Edit:Ok then, I noticed that I "forgot" to put up any real rules, so I'll do that. Now I'll go check the rules again and again.

Has-Big-Axe went to the barman and asked for a tablecloth. The burly barkeep laughed in his face, "Tablecloth? Why do you want a la-di-da tablecloth? Hahaha." Has-Big-Axe, in no mood for the barman's jesting stormed upstairs and broke down one of the doors to a room with his axe. He went inside, grabbed a bedsheet and wrapped it around the cursed staff. He returned downstairs and said to Elsuch,
"Let's go"

Fishystick
"Now let me think for a moment, it was a long time since I left this tavern to leave for home, and I might have some problems to remember the way..." Élsúch mumbled, looking around in every direction. He walked a few steps towards the north, then he changed his mind and walked to the south. "Damnit, I can't remember.. let's walk towards the woods, then I might remember a bit more" he said and walked towards a bunch of trees.

It took him a few minutes to figure out why the forest was so small, he then whispered something to himself and thought for a few more minutes. "That's right! This way, come on!" he shouted to his friend, and quickly walked towards the real forest. "This way must be the correct way", he told himself while looking closely at every tree he passed. "These trees remind me of the one's I can remember from home, we're just a few days march from there. Now, let's hurry up."

They hurried through the forest and Élsúch kept his eyes on the trees so that he wouldn't lead them in the wrong direction, he could almost smell the spot where his brother had once taught him to use a bow, althoguh it was still a few days away. "If we can keep up a good speed, this trip shouldn't take more then two, maybe three days" he told his friend while jumping over fallen trees and rocks.

OOC:I'm sorry for double posting, but I need to tell you, and I didn't want to make the last post five miles long, it won't happen again, I promise. The reason I'm posting again is that I'm going to Finland tomorrow and I'll be there for 2 maybe 3 weeks, be back later. If anyone signs up, make sure they get into the rp and play it nice.

IC:"Damn, I just remembered, I have to go by myself, there aren't many strangers in my hometown, and that is because there aren't many people who like strangers.." Élsúch told Has-Big-Axe and watched him in the dark night. "I'll go visit my family, then I'll meet up with you right.." he pulled out a map of the area they were standing in and its surroundings and marked a spot with the edge of an arrow, "right here". He gave the map to the argonian and then hurried a few feet into the woods. "If you find anyone on your patch that could be of any help, make sure you bring them, we're going to need it" he shouted over his shoulder before he dissapeared in the forest.
Chunky_Moose
OOC: bump

IC:

Has-Big-Axe took the map and wandered off into the woods. Hearing a noise, he turned and spotted a green-skinned hound leaping towards him. Has-Big-Axe gripped the staff tight and the hound exploded in flames, pieces of roasted flesh raining down on the Argonian's head.
tyjet3
Tyjet yells out, "Wait for me! I told you I would only be a second..."
He looks around and notices that Elsuch is gone. Not thinking twice about it, he notices a hound pieces laying on the ground next to Has-Big-Axe. "What did you do!? Was that some kind of spell?" Tyjet looks that Argonian up and down. He's cover in deadric armor and there is an extravagent looking spear in the lizard's hands. Spellbound by the spear, Tyjet's eyes widen and he asks, "Where did you get that thing and what does it do?"

---Just to let you know, I'm keeping the same character I had in the tavern.
Sex: Male
Race: Breton
Class: Restoration Magic, Crossbow, Mace, Alchemy, Some Alteration (unlock and levitate) -I guess I would call this class Cleric (similar to the D&D Cleric)---
Chunky_Moose
OOC: The hound has been blown to pieces by the STAFF. I guess you rushed through the posts in the tavern huh?

IC:

Has-Big-Axe turned and eyed the Breton suspiciously. "Why do you wish to know about this staff? Sometimes, knowledge is a great burden to bear."
Has-Big-Axe and Tyjet stood in silence for a few moments before the Argonian spoke,
"Alright then, but be prepared for what you are going to see. The more allies i have the better but this staff is an artifact of unimaginable evil. It once belonged to a great necromancer" saying that, he expertly twirled the staff in his hands and suddenly and forcefully planted it into the ground. The staff gave out a bright flash of crimson light and all around on the canopies of the trees, small flames erupted in the sky. After the spectacle had finished, several dozen charred bodies of birds fell with soft thuds against the gound all around them.
Has-Big-Axe calmly looked into the shocked and frightened eyes of Tyjet before placing ths staff down and showing to him his hands, covered with brightly glowing runes mirroring those carved onto the staff.
"Do not touch it. I have done so and i will bear the burden alone. Elsuch and myself are on a journey to destroy this hateful artifact. You are welcome to join us"
Eiade
ooc: i'm posting from california (free internet in the hotel lobby), and i really want to be part of this rp!! i was wondering (humble request) if you guys could sort of "reserve" a spot for me in this adventure. if its okay with you'all, i'll be playing as eiade, the unarmored acrobat in the tavern. i won't be entering right away, maybe two days from now (real-world time). i thought maybe i could run into you guys somehow along your path? sorry to give no in-character input, but i'm not really part of this rp until chunky_moose gives me the okay. i'll be getting back to kentucky on the 24th and i'll be able to post then.
tyjet3
-We should welcome Eiade because I have twist idea that involves Eiade... Just read the last few entries in the tavern section.-

Tyjet looks at Has-Big-Axe's hand and see red runes, they seemed to be burned in. "Please, let me help you. Two people alone makes this burden to heavy for you both. Speaking of Elsuch, where is he?" Tyjet looks around seeing that Has-Big-Axe is all alone except for a little piece of hound meat hanging from his "ear" and Tyjet carefully removes it for him and toss it down to the floor.
Chunky_Moose
OOC: Eiade, you're welcome. Especially since you have managed to build up previously in the tavern some rapport with Fishystick and we have both met you and have seen you run out from the tavern, your joining in seems a good idea. BTW, i'd just like to say to any lurkers out there reading this, please do post and join in with this RP, its a relaxed RP like the general chat in the tavern, this is not a particularly tightly storylined or DMed RP. Just join in and have fun.

IC:

Has-Big-Axe looked at Tyjet and thanked him for removing the piece of hound meat. He looked down at his own hands and stared intently at the runes, the more he concentrated on them, the more they glowed. He looked up at spoke gravely to Tyjet,
"This necromancer who once created this staff was a powerful wizard from the East. His necromancy bound countless sentient souls to this evil artifact" the Argonian said looking at the staff, "The staff is very much alive and sentient and it has a will of its own. That necromancer, by the hands of Elsuch and myself, was slain and his remains destroyed. The sentient will of the staff knew that its master had been destroyed. It remained in the possession of Elsuch, though he dared not use it or even let it see the light of day because he was afraid of its terrible power. I was the first to touch the bare wood of the staff after the death of its former master. Therefore, it chose to have me as its new master. It will likely kill you if you touch it, it almost did so to me when i battled against that necromancer"

Has-Big-Axe peeled off his armour - once again - to show to Tyjet the Scar. (OOC: Read about it in the tavern, it was part of the RP between myself and Fishystick)
"That staff did this to me when i touched it without it wanting me to when i was fighting its master"

The Argonian paused and went on,
"Anyway, Elsuch has gone on ahead to the village of his birth to meet his son. We might go there with him when he returns. We were on our way to destroy this artifact, it is too powerful to remain in mortal hands for long"
tyjet3
Tyjet nods in agreement. "This weapon is just to much for this world... Where must we go and how do we destroy it?"
Chunky_Moose
"Elsuch has gone to his village to meet his family. He has gone there also to muster aid and support. He has given me this map" Has-Big-Axe pulled out a map from his pocket and showed to Tyjet the spot that had been marked by Elsuch, "At this place resides a mighty elven mage in a tower. He is old and wise and once taught Elsuch. He believes that this wizard has the power, or at least the connections to help us destroy the Staff"
tyjet3
Tyjet looks up at Has-Big-Axe... "Are you sure this mage can be trusted? This is a powerful weapon. For all we know this could be a trap. I think we should be careful with this mage guy, or at least wait until Elsuch returns."
StefkeDeBelg
Has-Big-Axs and Tyjet hear movement in the trees surrounding them
they are being folowed.

ooc: i'm not realy sure if i should ask for pemisin first but if u don't want me to join make some bird fly away

i wanne be a wood elf ranger named 'izkwik'
Eiade
ooc: ok fellas. i got back to my house on yesterday, the 24th, but at 2:30 in the morning! uuuggh! sorry. anyways, this is gonna be a long post. this is what i thought of so that i could catch up w/ you guys. oh, and fyi: eiade is pronounced EE-YAH-DAY.

ic:

Eiade's appointment with a possible employer for a mission was running 20 minutes late. she was in an alleyway in an elevated part of town. out of boredom, she climbed up the side of a house and onto the roof, and looked out on the town. beyond the edge of the town, there was a field, which led into a forest. she saw three figures at the forest's edge, two of which she recognized as elsuch and has-big-axe.

she heard something. peering down into the alleyway, eiade saw a man in a calf-length black cloak. actually more of a parka than a cloak. the garment had no sleeves, but merely hung over the torso. covering his feet and hands were black gloves and boots. he looked dangerous.

the wood elf jumped down into the alleyway, in front of the man.
"lets get down to business, shall we?" she said. "since you're already 20 minutes late."
"well, bosmer," said the man. his voice sounded like that of a dark elf. "you shouldn't pretend that you've been waiting here the whole time." eiade eyed him with suspicion, wondering how he knew that she was 10 minutes late from the tavern.
"there is an item," said the dunmer. "a weapon of great significance and power. a staff, carved out of wood and powerfully enchanted. not too long ago i felt its presence in this very town. however, i am a sorceror, not an agent, scout, or thief. i need you to find it for me and find it soon."

eiade had remembered the staff that has-big-axe bore, and recalled seeing the bulge in his cloak in the tavern. that very well could be the thing that the shady sorceror was after.
"you have seen it," he said. eiade stared at him in disbelief. this dark elf was more than just a wandering sorceror. she felt his evil and heard the malice in his voice. telepathy was not a common occurance. he must've been blessed by the evil daedra. she began to back away. he was pure evil.

"you have seen it," he repeated. "find it for me tonight and i will reward you hansomly." she backed away farther. she shouldn't have dealings with this man.
"do not back away, bosmer, if you know what is good for you! i can reward you beyond your wildest dreams!"
"I... will not be involved with... the likes of you!" said eiade. she turned and ran. the sorceror's eyes glowed red and he took action. eiade turned and looked at him as she ran. out of his clothing he procured a red gemstone, the size of a fist. the sorceror cried out and out of the stange glowing gem shot a spread-fire burst of red energies.

Eiade's legs gave her a burst of speed as she was about to round the corner, but it wasn't enough. one of the red energy projectiles grazed her left arm near the shoulder.

Through the searing pain from her shoulder, eiade ran as fast as she could. she sprinted through the center of the town, vaulting over merchant's carts and dodging around people, and reached the edge of the town. she ran through the field toward has-big-axe, who was walking with someone whom she hadn't met yet. she looked at her shoulder, which she had been clutching the whole time. there was a long, slender, red scar.

"has-big-axe!" she cried out in desperation. "has-big-axe!!" the two whirled as she finally caught up with them.

"the staff! you're... you're in danger! the sorceror... he was... I..." eiade hadn't realized how exhausted the red energy blast had made her. her eyes wandered a bit as she breathed heavily, and then the exhausted wood elf fainted, and fell to the ground.

ooc: LONG POST!!! sorry StefkeDeBelg, i had to kind of interupt your entrance.
tyjet3
Tyjet looks down at Eiade's limp elf body... "I was afraid of this..." Tyjet picks up her body and leans her up against a rock as Has-Big-Axe looked in the direct where she came, weapon ready just in case. Tyjet then chants some soft words and places his hands on Eiade's head... after a few minutes, he removes his hands. "She will be ok, she just needs to sleep. Let me explain. I am a scout for my guild, the Carriers. We work in and out of the Mage's Guilds and Blades. We have recieved word of a dangerous sorceror walking about this area. I was trying to warn her not to go see this sorceror. His name is Luthin. No one knows where he came from but I know from sources that he came for some powerful weapon. From what Eiade just said, I am assuming he came for this staff. We have to destory soon. From what I learned this guy is ruthless."

Tyjet looks around... "Maybe we should set up camp soon. We need to find a more secure place first though..."
Chunky_Moose
OOC: StefkeDeBelg, please do join. The more the merrier!:)

IC:

Has-Big-Axe watched the Bosmer acrobat faint at his feet with an all too familiar wound on her shoulder and he tensed up for battle, the staff in his left hand, his battle-axe in his right - a clumsy way to wield weapons but more effective. He looked to Tyjet who nodded and reassured him that the Bosmer would be ok. After several moments of serenity, the Argonian put away his weapons and knelt down at the side of Eiade.

"Tyjet, Luthin is not a stranger to me. He is, or was, the apprentice of the necromancer who once owned this staff. This wound on this wood elf's shoulder is caused by the same malicious magic that caused the Scar that i showed to you. It is thankfully not as severe an injury as that becaus the crystal that caused it wa not connected to the staff" Tyjet looked up in confusion, Has-Big-Axe continued, "Yes, this staff was more than just a the wooden shaft that I possess. A crystal, a large red crystal once adorned the head of this staff. It also is an artifact of power beyond mortal belief. When these two agents of evil are used in conjunction with each other, the power of the staff is phenomenal. I presume that you know how dangerous Luthin is, it was he - after i killed his master - who took up his master's staff and struck me. I was 18 months in recovery through daedric sorcery and dwarven genius. That many years ago, Luthin was still inexperienced and he struck me barely a glancing blow, and you have seen the damage it has caused. These twenty years in preparation must have made Luthin powerful, this staff must never be allowed to fall into his hands. I would die many times if i could to protect it"

Has-Big-Axe looked down to the pale face of Eiade and the cauterised, but nevertheless brightly red gash on her shoulder. He held the staff carefully above the wound and gritted his teech and closed his eyes in concentration, the red glow disappeared from the flesh to be replaced by a normal, healthy peachy, yellowy colour. The wound closed slightly but did not heal altogether. Has-Big-Axe collapsed on the grass exhausted. "The wound will not cause her any more trouble but i am not strong enough to repair the damage to the flesh." he chuckled, "Luthin would be able to", he got up and stared at Tyjet, "that elven mage could probably help us as well. We can stay here and face Luthin, or we can seek a mighty mage's help, i know which i would prefer"

Meanwhile, as the Argonian spoke, Eiade had recovered her normal colour and stirred.

(OOC: Btw, i have no idea what's the normal colour for Bosmer skin hence 'peachy, yellowy colour')
tyjet3
ooc: i believe wood elf skin is a tanner color than, say, a breton or imperial. they look like they've lived in florida all their life.

ic:

Eiade's eyes opened slowly, and she clambered to her feet. She felt her shoulder, which was still in a dull pain. The wound was a lesser one now. She was a little tired, and pulled a pinch of saltrice out of a small pouch on her side, and put it under her tongue.

"I wouldn't worry about him attacking any time soon," she said. "I was too fast for him to follow. What we need to do is get away from here. He might catch sight of us at any time. We must be cautious with this dunmer named Luthin. I'm not even a spiritual person and I could feel the darkness emanating from him."

"We must leave here immediately. And I hate to be a burden, but I believe it would be best if we found a healer for this strange scar."

ooc:
1. What town are we at in Vvardenfell? I think it should be in Vvardenfell so that we all have the same idea of what the map is like.
2. Don't we need more in-depth character info? We all know I'm an acrobat, but I think we all need to know more about eachother to preserve the rp element. Just in case, here's my character info.
Eiade
ooc: oh no! tyjet3 is a friend of mine, and he was on my computer last and i accidentally posted as him! i'm retarded!! sorry! the last post is mine!! poster_oops.gif

i just reported the last this one and the previous post to a moderator, hopefully they will be deleted and i'll re-post my rp entry!
Chunky_Moose
OOC: My character is on the same page as Eiade's. Well, regarding the town that we are near, let's look at the facts. It is a seaside town with a tavern and a dock. It has woods fairly close by. The only town that matches the description exactly is Vivec and i don't want to be in Vivec so i have decided that we are in Gnaar Mok. We can pretend that there is a tavern there called the Stinking Barfly Tavern.

IC:

"Ah, Eiade, you're awake." Has-Big-Axe turned around and spoke to her, "Elsuch knew an elven mage of considerable power who lives here" he pointed on the map to the roughly drawn X near Sadrith Mora. Apparently this elf has devoted his life to healing and has a special interest in healing damage caused by magic. He also has a large collection of Dunmer artifacts (OOC: Yes, i do mean Divyath Fyr). He lives a fair way away from where we are now however, Elsuch was certain that he would be powerful enough to either destroy the Staff or help us in our mission.
tyjet3
"Let's go there and hope he can help. It might not be safe to stay the night in Sadrith Mora, but we don't have to much of a choice."

Tyjet looks at Eiade, "Do you need help or can you walk on your own? I can carry you if you need it."

ooc: this the real tyjet3
Eiade
"No i can walk fine, I'm not tired. The scar just hurts a little. But even so, Sadrith Mora is quite a long way from here. May I suggest we go to the Balmora Mages Guild and use their teleport service?"
tyjet3
ooc: we really need to figure out where we are... Are we near any towns or rivers? Are we close enough to Balmora to walk? @eiade in which town did you meet that guy? I don't really know what to do until we know this info.
Chunky_Moose
OOC: Never fear! A DM is here!

IC:

Has-Big-Axe stood and pondered for a few moments before he spoke,
"It is probably unsafe to take any form of public transport at all. It would be even more unsafe to go back into Gnaar Mok with Luthin after us. I think we'll just have to follow the coast until we reach the Ahemmusa. I am good friends with their Wise Woman and i'm sure that she would be able to help us, or at least provide us with a boat to get to this elven mage."
The Samurai Orc- Ken Ralliman
You know, I have really been quite bored with mysef lately so..... ummm.... how should I say this..? Let me join oh oh let me! I have no need to ask do I? I mean you already said it yourself (exactly what you said I have completely forgot at the moment...) So, Ken's coming, if its ENTIRELY ok, you know: same Orc from the tavern. You should know him well Chunky_Moose.

I'll have a entry post shortly.
Eiade
Has-Big-Axe was right. Luthin, as a telepath, can sense and "see" beings who are travelling through the 2nd dimensional plane, and would immediately know where we were headed.

"Well then, lets go already!" Eiade said. Eiade started off at a brisk trot down the road leading north, expecting the other two to come along. She hoped they wouldn't get tired often along the way. Especially the Argonian, lugging around all that ridiculously heavy Daedric. Daedric armor provides unparalelled protection, it's almost impossible to find, and a single gauntlet is worth a fortune, but in Eiade's opinion, heavy armor was like a ball and chain!

Eiade looked back at them. "Come on, then!"
FlightlessBird
OOC: Yeah i would like to join this rp, but since this is my first, i think one of the people who are in it already should put me in. you have my permission to put me in this how ever you want. I will be useing the character Isaac. hes on the 8th page of "introductions" in teh rp area. so i'd appreciate it if i could join biggrin.gif

OOC: poster_stupid.gif Just kidding Biljo

I'd like to join too with my character Duriel.

Fit me in with the story as you see fit. This would be my first RP too. Please consider me.

If you do accept me then PM me your plans for me to come in.

Thanks for the consideration!
eternaldarkness
Please try to fit me in. I am an altmer sorcerer seeking the ice blade of the monarch.
tyjet3
OOC: we have plenty of room and plenty of ways to add people. From what I gathered we will be traveling all way around the outer land of Vvardenfell -from Balmora ALL THE WAY around to Sadrith Mora-... Can we say, "long trip"... We will be passing through Gnisis, Ald Velothi, Khuul, Urshilaku Camp, Valenvaryon, all the way until Ahemmusa Camp... Talk to Chunky-Moose about entrances...

Tyjet sees Eiade walking quite well considering her injuries and runs to walk together with her. "Don't you think we should stop somewhere for supplies? We aren't very well prepared for this trip..." Has-Big-Axe comes near by and Tyjet glances at the map... "Why don't we see if "Andasreth" is vacant? Maybe we can stay there until morning? I'll just pick up some plants along the way and see what I can do with them. Then we can get some proper supplies from Gnisis."
Chunky_Moose
OOC:

@Ken: You are joining in this post since you were in the tavern.
@FlightlessBird: You are sitting by the side of path with your paper and writing equipment. You are seeking inspiration for your book. I don't think you'll be able to join in on this post though.
@UberBender: A washed up, former druggy thief. LOL! I'll fit you into this post as well. You are going to try to rob us.
@eternaldarkness: Could you please wait a for te next post as well to join in? This one is going to be a long one guys...

Its great that so many people are joining up. We've got plenty of room and anyone else can join if they want.

IC (Finally lol):

Has-Big-Axe stopped and looked at the map with Tyjet and Eiade. Many years of of fighting and killing and experience of battle and combat had honed his skills well and he suddenly realised that something was wrong. Maybe it was in the air or maybe it was just some extra sense but he felt the presence of another, watching them. He whirled around with his axe drawn to greet...nothing but thin air. The other two looked at him, half-sarcastically, half-alarmedly. Has-Big-Axe ignored them and whirled again and this time swung his axe and chopped at the...thin air infront of him. His axe thudded into the ground, the enchanted daedric blade causing a small flame to leap from the dusty path. His companions were now struggling to prevent themselves from laughing and they started to walk off, bidding Has-Big-Axe to follow them. The Argonian remained silent and crouched down, moved his head about and sniffed the air. With a single, violent and sudden action, he drew out two daedric darts, hidden in a pouch and threw them towards a large bush. One thudded into a treetrunk behind the bush but the other - with a pleasing sound - thudded into flesh and a Khajiit stumbled out from the bush with the dart in his shoulder.

"AAGGHHHHH! This really hurts!!" Has-Big-Axe looked at the would-be bandit and walked up to him.
"Who are you? What are you doing here? Why were you hiding from me? Are you working for Luthin? Were you trying to rob us?"
The Khajiit just replied with,
"No! I'm just a freelance bandit! Get this damned thing out of my bloody shoulder will you? Please hurry, it hurts like withdrawing from skooma!" Has-Big-Axe chuckled to himself and pulled the dart out with a forceful motion, blood sprayed into his face and the Khajiit half-screamed, half-growled. The Argonian, unslung the Staff from his back and concentrated his mind on the Staff and the Staff on healing the wound. The tiny injury, relative to the massive ones caused by this staff and its crystal, healed quickly and perfectly under the immense power of the Staff.

The Khajiit looked relieved but shocked by the magic that had just healed him so quickly. "What the...?" he began to say but Has-Big-Axe shushed him and in a demanding tone asked,
"Who are you? Why are you here? How long have you been following us?"
The Khajiit looked annoyed for a moment but then replied,
"My name is Duriel. I work for nobody but myself and I followed you here from the Tavern. I have heard and seen most of what has happened (OOC: Yes you have! Read the previous posts, nice and simple). Please, maybe i can help you? I know of many hidden smuggler's caves and they should be more than willing to shelter you should you need it if i was to be with you..." Before Has-Big-Axe had a chance to reply, he heard a great bellow from behind them on the path.

"WAIT FOR MEEEE!" The approaching figure of an Orc appearedfrom around a bend in the path and he sprinted up to the group and stopped. He put his hands on his knees and panted for a few moments before getting up and declaring loudly,
"Hello Has-Big-Axe! I'm Ken! The Orc in the tavern! Remember me?" The Argonian nodded and Ken continued, "I saw you leaving the tavern and i saw what you did to that rat. I ran all the way after you to try to find out what was going on? What is going on? Has-Big-Axe sighed and began to speak,
"We are on our way to destroy the Staff that you saw do such evil to that rat. It is an evil artifact and we are journeying to the tower of a great elven mage who is going to help us destroy the Staff. However, we have a difficult opponent ahead of us, and also probably behind. His name is Luthin and he also wants the Staff. That is because he has another artifact that once belonged with the Staff. If someone of his evil could reunite these two evil artifacts...needless to say we would be in pretty big trouble." Ken did not looked dismayed for a second throughout the speech and instantly responded, "Can I help? I love a good adventure! I love to kill things! Especially evil magical things!" Has-Big-Axe smiled at both the Orc and the Khajiit. "You are both welcome to come with us. This is Eiade and this is Tyjet. Perhaps they will introduce themselves to you. But for now come, we have a great distance to travel"
tyjet3
Tyjet greets them both with the Carriers greeting... locking his right hand in his left and bowing. "Nice to meet you two. I'm Tyjet. If you are in any sort of pain just ask... i bet that hurts, i'll see what I can do..." Tyjet lays Duriel down and grabs some resin, marshmerrow, and wickwheat and starts grinding them down to a paste. Tyjet then pulls out a sweetpulp. "Eat this", Tyjet says. Duriel looks over the sweetpulp and slowly starts chewing it. He grows to like it and soon realizes it's gone... Then all of a sudden Duriel totally relaxes and lays completely flat...

"wwwhhaaaaat?", Duriel says... Tyjet then stands over Duriel and places his feet firmly into the ground and yanks the dart out of his shoulder. Blood starts to flow down his arm... Tyjet grabs some extra cloth he has and rubs it in the paste. Then he slowly places it over the wound and ties it down firmly. Slowly Duriel comes back to normal and starts to feel the cool feeling of the paste on his skin... then a sudden wave of pain... Duriel twitches and then stands up as if nothing happened.

Tyjet could see that Duriel was confused from what just happened. He explained, "The thing you ate made it easier to remove the dart... believe me, it would have hurt a lot more if i hadn't of paralyzed you. The paste should heal you pretty quick, give it a few days..."

"So, shall we go?"

EDIT: total forget everything you just read... I am retarded... blush.gif ... but don't forget that I skilled in medicines!!
Chunky_Moose
OOC: Tyjet, i guessed my thread was a bit long and boring but i've already pulled out the dart and the Staff's healed the wound...
tyjet3
OOC: poster_oops.gif I guess i missed that part... Grabs large rock and hits self very hard...

UberBender
OOC: Thanks guys. This looks to be a fun RP!

IC: Duriel grabs his food sack from behind the bush and brushes off the dirt.

"Thannnk you forrr yourr merrrcy. I suppossse I am bounnd to hellp you. I really don't rob people anymorrre but I like the look of that armor. I've cleaned up my act a lot since jail and rehab. Niccce to meeet you Eiade. Nice to meet you Tyjet."

Duriel pauses, remembering his former self.

"Lets go."
The Samurai Orc- Ken Ralliman
OOC: Well, Than you for my entry.(Yes, in fact killing things is a hobby)

IC: Ken greets Tyjet and Eiade with a smile "Yes, I am Ken Ralliman... greetings to you. I will try to help put as much as I can to all of you." And whit a small bow to the entire group, he grows silent once more.(He is still a bit half-drunk half-hungover from drinking so much in the tavern, but he can make due just fine).

"So.. the quest seems tough, but nothing like crossing the entire continent now is it?"
Eiade
"Aawww... I love kitties!!" exclaimed Eiade. "..err.. uh.. I mean... Nice to meet you Duriel!" Stupid stupid stupid.... She almost slapped herself in the face.

"And how are you, green one?" She promptly shook the orc's hand.

Anyways down to business.

"I must strongly protest against staying the night in a place like Andasreth. Luthin himself probably has his humble abode in one of those outlaw-ridden ancient Dunmer strongholds. Not smart. I believe that we have these few options: find one of Duriel's caves, where his friends may shelter us, we can simply stake it out on the side of the road (I just love waking up to those misty mornings), or we can travel a few hours into the night and make it to Gnisis. Make the decision, Has-Big-Axe, nightfall is not very far off a'tall! We must hurry!"
UberBender
Duriel listens to Eiade carefully.

"I beelievve we shoullld cammp by thee rrroad orr travel to Gnisis. My "frriends" are not the mosst trrustworrthy people. Jusst a suggessstion."

Duriel takes a flask out of his bag and takes a swig. He stares intently into the night and quickly climbs up a tree. The sound of slashing claws pierces the night. A rather large bird falls out of the tree with several large lacerations.

"Supperrrr anyonnne?" he says and starts plucking the feathers out with his rather deadly claws.
tyjet3
Tyjet, hungry from all his travel dives at the bird first... Relaizing he is acting a little wierd he hands the bird to Duriel and says "Sorry,... just a little hungry...
Chunky_Moose
OOC: A bit discontinued there guys...it was nearly nightfall and then it was nighttime...nvm i'll sort it out, now be prepared for a another longish post.

IC:

They had managed to travel a fair distance that day but night had fallen before they could reach a town. Now they faced spending the night out in the open without any shelter. However, in the distance against the moonlight, Has-Big-Axe could see the silhouette of a cavern entrance - most likely some ancestral tomb that could often be found in these areas. He called out to the others to follow him and he ran up to the tomb entrance. To his astonishment, an Altmer was lying asleep with a book open in his hands infront of the tomb door. Has-Big-Axe shook him awake and spoke to him, "Who are you? Why the daedra are you sleeping here?" The Altmer rubbed his eyes and looked the Argonian, "Uhhh, whaa??" Has-Big-Axe repeated his questions and this time the Altmer answered.

"My name is Isaac. Why I am here is none of your business sir." Has-Big-Axe tilted his head and looked at him hard, "Ok ok, I am an artist and a poet and a writer. I was here seeking inspiration for my new book. Have you read any of my other books? It was me who wrote..." the Altmer was cut off by a shout of fear and the tomb door slamming open with another Altmer, dressed in sorcerer's robes running out from the tomb followed by three greater bonewalkers and a bonelord.

Has-Big-Axe drew his axe, took a step back and put up a defensive stance.
UberBender
Duriel was suprised to meet Isaac here, so far from his home. But there was no time for questions. Duriel realised that his claws would be useless against these opponents and he drew his ebony shortsword insted.

"Lett thee funn beginn!"
Eiade
ooc: there are too many of us for us to have fun with only 3 bonewalkers. maybe a couple more could come follow?

ic:

Eiade's fast reflexes lead her to act immediately and she decided to cast a spell. Eiade wasn't must of a magic user, except for illusion. she used illusion frequently, because of it's many uses, and because of her natural likeness to it.

"Dodehrna!" she harshly whispered, casting the silence spell using the native Bosmer tongue. Her hands gathered a green ethereal mist around them, and she threw the silence spell into the center ghost. She knew how dangerous their draining and damaging magic was, and she didn't want to see it. She gathered more energy and was planning to cast silence on all three of them.

ooc: i guess Chunky_moose will tell whether ther spell succeeded or not.
tyjet3
Tyjet sees the creatures and first grabs the Altmer that was being chased in an attempt to calm him down. "Calm down, your safe. We can handle this." Tyjet pulls out his custom one handed stell crossbow and loads it with his enchanted bolts, he only brought a few... Just as Eiade cast her spell one of Tyjet's frost enchanted bolt flys into the crowd of monsters...

Seeing a chance to strike, Duriel leaps up on top of the entrance to the tomb and with great speed he jumps again in the direction of one of the bonewalkers.

Just as he is overhead of the bonewalker he plunges his sword strait down into it's skull. The bonewalker falls over dead.

Duriel lands delicatly looking rather pleased with himself. But "pride cometh before the fall" and another undead creature strikes Duriel in the back knocking him to the ground.
Chunky_Moose
OOC: Your wish is my command Eiade.

IC:

Eiade's silence spell stopped the Bonelord just before it managed to cast a drain health but she was too late with the other. It cast a fiery drain magicka and the ball of magicka hurtled at Eiade. She took a pace back as the drain had stunned her and stumbled. However, before the Bonelord could follow up with anything, Tyjet's enchanted bolt flies into the Bonelord's skull, an explosion of ice froze the Bonelord stiff and the swing of the Argonian's daedric axe shattered the frozen Bonelord.

Duriel tried to flip over but was pinned to the ground by the bonewalker that had hit him. He watched in horror as the bonwalker raised its arm to kill him and watched in relief and shock as a daedric axeblade, leaving a trail of flame and burnt flesh behind it, hacked through the offending arm and the severed limb fell onto Duriel's chest.

The Argonian did not have time to speak when 9 more bonewalkers rushed out from the tomb, almost taking the door off its hinges. A volley of arrows also flew out from the door, followed by 6 skeleton archers. One of the arrows his the Argonian but it merely deflected off his daedric armour but one of the bonewalkers had at the same time run full pace into him and had picked up, thrown him and hit him with an outstretched arm. It hit Has-Big-Axe on his snout and he flew backwards from the force of the blow. He landed crumpled up against a tree - unconcious.

(OOC: I'm gonna be in Belgium for 3 RL days guys so i'm afraid you're gonna have to fight this one out with me unconcious against a tree. BTW, if you run out of monsters in the next 3 days, feel free to make a few more---> keep it sensible obviously, Dagoth Ur does not climb out of the tomb and get killed etc.)
FlightlessBird
Isaac, freeing himself from Tyjet's grip, says,
"Thank you for warning me of the attacks. Please allow me to help you fend off these wretched creatures."
Tyjet however, was not listening to what Isaac was saying. He was concentrating on fireing his bolts into the oncomming horde. Carefully, Isaac placed his writting materials and journal to the side of the road, while somehow drawing symbols in the air with his staff. The symbols were a varity of colors, ranging from purple to red, all intertwined to form intircate symbols. The symbols then formed together into a Purpleish (for lack of a better word) reddish ball.
"Duriel, duck!"
Duriel had seen this spell before, he realized it to be a mix between a burden effect and some fire magic. Isaac could not add a range to this spell, for he did not want to harm his allys, so this had to be a good shot. Duriel looked as the purpleish-reddish ball flew directly at him, at an alarming speed...
UberBender
Ducking and rolling out of the way just in time the energy ball flew by and struck a nearby bonewalker. The bonewalker was immediatly disintegrated into nothingness and Duriel jumped up on to his paws.

He took his sword and rushed up to one of the undead beasts. He made several slashes across it's chest and then stabed it in the neck with his dagger. It fell to his side lifeless.

He took a swig from his flask and readied for the battle to continue.
The Samurai Orc- Ken Ralliman
Ken, who had been watching the fight now prepared himself for the battle. he reached for the handle sticking from his sheath. He pulled the blade out gleaming. A curved blade with golden-yellow flames engraved onto and firing out from the runic blade. He stabs at one of the monstrosoties of undeath, and fire blasts through its entire body, scorching it from the inside out.

Ken removes the blade gashed into one of the creature's rib parts and gazes at the flames.

"Well, that must have hurt, if these things DO feel pain." Ken says with a laugh and begins towards another one.
FlightlessBird
Isaac felt the battle was turning in their favor. So he decided to be creative with his next spell. His staff began to glow purple, emmiting a purple light in a small readius around him. Aiming his staff, Isaac shot a purple ball of energy which then hit a nearby bonewalker. The spell he cast was levitate, but with a twist. When the spell hit, the bonewalker was forced into the air, following the motion of issacs staff. it seemed to go higher and higher untill it stoped. At this point, the bonewalker was furious at what was happening to it. It let out a scream as it fell to the earth and landed with a crunch as its legs broke.
"Ha! i've always wanted to try that..." Isaac exclaimed with happiness. And the battle continued...
