Skill plan for Samroski

1. Wholesale V (14 days, 13 hours, 55 minutes, 20 seconds)
2. Marketing III (10 hours, 30 minutes, 12 seconds)
3. Marketing IV (2 days, 11 hours, 25 minutes, 4 seconds)
4. Tycoon I (47 minutes, 50 seconds)
5. Tycoon II (3 hours, 42 minutes, 50 seconds)
6. Tycoon III (21 hours, 24 seconds)
7. Tycoon IV (4 days, 22 hours, 50 minutes, 8 seconds)
8. Instant Recall V (4 days, 8 hours, 41 minutes, 31 seconds)
9. Iron Will V (4 days, 5 hours, 22 minutes, 6 seconds)
10. Spatial Awareness V (4 days, 5 hours, 22 minutes, 6 seconds)
11. Analytical Mind V (4 days, 5 hours, 22 minutes, 6 seconds)

This should take me well into the new year. I probably should train cybernetics to V at some stage and get +5 implants (have +4s now), as I suppose I can afford them- but Cybernetics V will take 12 days....

Should I do Cybernetics V after Tycoon IV? or after the rank 1 learning skills hit V in January?

id say train the learning skills then tycoon then cybernetics

Skill plan for Dark Sensei

1. Recon Ships V (23 hours, 20 minutes, 44 seconds)
2. Cruise Missiles V (13 days, 4 hours, 15 minutes, 16 seconds)
3. Cruise Missile Specialization I (49 minutes, 48 seconds)
4. Cruise Missile Specialization II (3 hours, 51 minutes, 58 seconds)
5. Cruise Missile Specialization III (21 hours, 52 minutes, 13 seconds)
6. Cruise Missile Specialization IV (5 days, 3 hours, 43 minutes, 8 seconds)

I don't get from China until the 12th so it gave me the chance to get cruise missiles V out of the way. I'm not playing much at the moment anyway so this might be my chance to get Caldari Battleships V and maybe work towards marauders and torpedoes V.

EVE mon is a pain in the ass so i don't use it any more but im training

then im going to start training for jumpdrives

Training Learning skills to 5 does not pay off for nearly a year. Don't waste your time.
Get Cybernetics 5 and just use +5s. You will save some time and be able to use better hardwiring.
Even if you still decide to train all the T1 learning to 5, getting the implants first will still save time.

This is what I like to to with my time.

After long consideration of my options I have decided to get tycoon- and then train to cybernetics V, get +5s and then the final spurt of getting the learning skills up to V.

As I am likely to play Eve for a while I might as well get the learning over with once and for all. This is the most patience demanding aspect of Eve, as there is no apparent progress- and just the thought is most unappealing- something that should not be part of a "game". But I suppose Eve is more than a game. This should be a consoling thought, but is not, and I have to shout: I HATE LEARNING.

The only thing that I am a little happy about is that with 4 jump clones I do not have to unplug and loose implants. I have 2 with +4s and the third I'll plug in with +5s, and one I'll keep without any implants for times when I am near Suzarn smile.gif

Training Jump Drive Operation V atm, which will finish sometime late on xmas day.

After that, jump fuel conservation 3 & 4 should take me up to the end of the month.

I'm training up assault ships atm (only on level 3), I'm hoping to eventually get that and Weapon Upgrades to V so I can train for HACs... but thatll take ages, so I'm going to focus on being able to fly assault frigs well first (I have the basic skills now, but I daren't spend 25mil on one only to lose it because of bad piloting. I'm not really sure what other skills I actually need, but I'm thinking maybe I should improve my drone skills a bit (I want an Ishkur), though they're pretty good already.

And after that, if I still can't pluck up the courage to train for a HAC (It'd take a month or so I reckon), I might get electronics upgrades V and train for a covert ops, or maybe evasive maneuvering, and get an interceptor... tongue.gif

IMO assualt frigs suck and you should go for HACs or Covert ops
Suzarn
Assault Frigates used to be under powered. With the recent changes, AFs are actually worth flying.
Commonly do I and other members of my corp use AFs to tackle much larger targets.
Since they are so small it is nearly impossible to hurt them with large weapons.
Perhaps more people will start to carry target painters because of this. I doubt it though.

Term- am delighted to see your plans for training. Seems like factional warfare has been pretty profitable for you- and you'll have enough for the GTC by Christmas smile.gif

Edit: am delighted to hear that Assault frigates are of some use. I've got one, but only ever took it out once.

2nd Edit: Only 6 days left for Wholesale V...
The_Terminator
Nah, not really - I've lost about 25 million, at least, since I started playing again tongue.gif I'm not entirely sure how I'd afford a HAC, and the skills etc, but I figured I'd cross that bridge when I come to it tongue.gif

And I've no idea if assault frigs are any use or not - but they look kinda fun, and I had assault frigs at level 1 when I rejoined the game, so I figured why not give 'em a try tongue.gif

I love my Cerb for ratting. Sick resists to Guristas (kin/therm). Not good for much else! Needs good missile skills too!
The_Terminator
I'm aiming for an Ishkur, then eventually an Ishtar, myself. I have the skills needed to fly an ishkur already, but I'm kind of hesitant to get one, as I don't really know what supporting skills would be needed to fly it well... I have good drone skills, but apart from that I'm kinda lost tongue.gif

An update on my skill plan for December. The plan was:
QUOTE
1. Wholesale V (14 days, 13 hours, 55 minutes, 20 seconds)
2. Marketing III (10 hours, 30 minutes, 12 seconds)
3. Marketing IV (2 days, 11 hours, 25 minutes, 4 seconds)
4. Tycoon I (47 minutes, 50 seconds)
5. Tycoon II (3 hours, 42 minutes, 50 seconds)
6. Tycoon III (21 hours, 24 seconds)
7. Tycoon IV (4 days, 22 hours, 50 minutes, 8 seconds)
8. Instant Recall V (4 days, 8 hours, 41 minutes, 31 seconds)
9. Iron Will V (4 days, 5 hours, 22 minutes, 6 seconds)
10. Spatial Awareness V (4 days, 5 hours, 22 minutes, 6 seconds)
11. Analytical Mind V (4 days, 5 hours, 22 minutes, 6 seconds)

I got to no. 6 more or less on schedule, and this may be a record, as was sidetracked only briefly. And now I have started on Cybernetics V. 11 days to go, and then I fit a jump clone with +5s (Intelligence and Memory at the minimum) and start off on the learning skills.

Tycoon I'll train to IV in between somewhere. Though at the moment I am drowning in all these market orders.
