ive just tried to install the new patch from the bethesda website, and it gets to 85 and then says: old file not found, file with same name found. File contents do not match. Update aborted
i have a few mods, and have un and reinstalled obliviona few tmes, and for a while my game did not work,but has been LARGELY fixed. any ideas as to what is goign on?
Full Version: Oblivion Offficial patch problems
First, be sure you downloaded the proper patch for your language version. US & UK versions are different (some people think we speak the same language)
Then, if you have Shivering Isles, The Oblivion patch won't work. You will need the Shivering Isles patch - it includes the oblivion patch. There is only one SI patch for both US & UK, (Sometimes we do speak the same language, well, almost anyway.)
If you have the Game of the Year version, it is supposed to have the patch already.

i tried, it got halfway through and i got the same message
