Hey guys...
So noob question: when you train at a trainer, do they give attribute modifiers when you level up?
I know that if your already at 10/10 for leveling up and you go to train that it WILL NOT give you attribute modifiers... but what if your not at 10/10 and you train a minor skill?
Thanks guys in advance.
Edited - Removed part mistake answer (the following yet applies): At times you may receive an attr increase if the training was enough to let you level. In vanilla Oblivion this happens only with main skills, so you can train preferably only the minor skills without leveling (what may be a bless to enhance your character before increasing in levels). Remember foes in Oblivion are leveled second the player character. One may want increase the adjacent skills before getting levels.
Edit: Sorry, you said attributes modifiers, not attributes gain... That was so long ago I later did concern about leveling and I'm not sure anymore if the training contributes to those modifiers, I think they do as normal using of the skill. So, if you train a secondary skill that is controlled by Intelligence, for example, this will give you that point in the modifier to it.
The point is most of people (myself included) thinks the vanilla leveling system awkward (mainly this attributes modifiers that forces an unnatural behavior just to get desired attr modifiers). So I use mods that changes it. OOO does it at some extent but I found Kobu's Advanced Character System leveling customizable enough to be my choice.
