Back in the old days of Morrowind Chronicles, Anubis, the Seer Council and sanity, web designing for me was but a hobby. I'd already been doing it for 2 years before MWC came along, so at the age of 16 when MWC begun, it wasn't too big a deal what age I was. However, as things past - Anubis left to move on to bigger things (namely setting up Krystal Solutions, the self-made company Anubis and I setup nigh on 2 years ago), things became apparent that my age should remain quiet in order to not put off potential business (how many national firms of solicitors do you know that would pay a 16 or 17 year old a considerable amount of money for a website, let alone trust them with certain information?). Simon, who is close to 2 years older than myself was able to be the front for the company, and I simply worked on a freelance basis.
Through the years a few have had suspicions - Theta I know has had little pieces of puzzles thrown at her, but to her credit she remained largely quiet about it. Not many people like being told that I make more money than them in a year, not many can take that for a long period of time I worked in an office, while still going to college, and its always great with the ladies (well, most - some don't seem to like the idea that I work for my own company..strange).
The fact that the majority were willing to accept my age simply shows that age will often mean little when one prove's his or her maturity. I feel I would fail to guess the majority of people's ages on these forums, since the majority conduct themselves in a manner which would have me to believe we're all as old as Theta (
). I am proud to see that I have developed a community of avid Morrowind fans who conduct themselves in ways where age is not a boundary or a prejudice - but actions are.Since its out now, lets have some piccy's. Most of these were taken by my (ex-)girlfiend a few months back.
