OT>Ok guys Behold,Metronome,Our official RP topic.Hehe,just kidding.But seriously,this is out RP topic for the "Order Of The Dragon".To those wishing to join,must post [here] before posting in this RP.Again i ask the current members to follow the rules as much as possible.And now for the first post:

IN>Darkness...That's the least that could be said about the surroundings.In the center of the black void,faintly seen lies,unconscious,a reptilian humanoid,on its back dragon-like wings,and on it's skin - reddish thick scales.Quiet...another word to describe the dark environment.The humanoid slowly woke up and opened his eyes.

...Whe...Where am I?...

He looked around.All he could see was shadow and darkness.The invisible floor was marked by the magical fog under it.The ,what appeared to be a half dragon.He looked around.He saw nor heard anything.

...H-Hello?...

He tried to take a step,but something weighed him down.The half-dragon looked at his body.All he saw was a full set of dark plate armor.In between his wings was a claymore,as black as the surrounding "room".

Where the heck am I?

At the beginning of your destiny!

A voice shrieked out,The reptilian tried to focus on where it came from,but it sounded like it came from no direction.

This is getting stranger by the second....

<lying on a rocky surface, in complete darkness is a man. from far off he looks as like any normal human teenager. but up close the eye spots differances. this man is half elf, ditusishable by his pointed ears and narrow chin>
<the man sits up and surveys as much as his elven eyes can seen in the emense darkness>

The elf-man: Ugh, my head. where the am i? can't seen anything in this gloom.

<the elf-man rolls onto his knees and start rumaging around in the gloom>

now where is my sword. or my lighter at least.

A cold chill is felt around the elf like human.

The time has come mortal,to defend what little your kind has left in this world....

A voice sounded from no known direction.The half elf felt the rocky ground as it turned into solid ice...

<the half-elf finall locates his sword. using it to support his weight he stands up. he almost slips on the ice but nimbily just manages to stay upright>

Hello? is someone there?

<the half-elf shivers in the chill then mutters to himself>

Great mess you've got your self into this time Leon.

<Leon stamps his foot on the icy ground to stay warm and to get his blood flowing>

<a human man is lying on his back in a room with no light>
the man:i'm alive?"lets out a sigh"pity.
<the man stands up and checks to make sure his gear is still there>
the man:good.it's all here.
<the man walks to the center of the room>
the man:now where am i?

A dark skinned man staggers to his feet in the pitch black. "what!? WHAT!? Where the hell?!" He draws his sword and grips it readily, as if facing a foe.

At the tests of life

A deep voice shouted around the man's ears.Around him started to glow 8 spheres,each having a unique color...

The half dragon wasn't going to wait for an answer from what ever spoke to him.He ran further into the dark,running over...nothing.After minutes of non-stop running,he reached a light spot on the invisible floor.It was in the shape of a star inside a circle.As he slowly walked over to the center of it he started hearing some noises in the distance.As if something was running at him.

Where am I!

...shouted the knight.

Pass the tests an all shall be explained

Very well.what do i do?-the half dragon readied his claymore.

Bend the shadow to your will.If not your enemies will always be hidden,fear not the light,but do not let down you guard in the dark

the man:"to himself"great a disembodied voice.well this should be interesting.

<the man looks around>
and what are these spheres?

<leon looks around in the gloom then sighs>

I'm alone. cold. and in pure darkness

<Leon's stumbic rumbles a low long growl>
and i haven't eaten in the last day.

<Leon, starts to wonder in the darkness, occasionally slipping over>

The unseen ground started to tremble as the human heard eruptions in the distance...

The reptilian,although still confused,listened to the voice and lifted his hand.All he saw was shadow,but in his mind he only saw his enemies.The bony noises in the background stopped and changed to undead shrieking.The mist started to disappear like smoke,as light from an unknown source shined the invisible ground.The wrath spirits began burning their forsaken souls,from their wretched bodies.The half dragon took a deep breath and looked at his hand.

How did i do that?

With those last words he found himself on top of a beautiful waterfall in the middle of the forest.

Now,for the second test.But first i assume with to know about what your doing in this place...

<leon looks about at the cold, empty icy world he is stuck in>
<at no one in preicualar he raises an eyebrow>
Elemental dragons?
i thought they left us. when Herax attacked us and sent my people into hiding.

<he cocks his head to one side, thinking on what was said>
Champions? there are more people here then just me?
<once again he looks around hopelessly>
well theres no one here.

<Leon sighs then sinks to the frozen floor of the cave he is stuck in>
i take it i was chosen by an Ice Dragon.

<Dragons? Impossible. They left. Gone. Forever.
They man goes to the floor an sits cross legged, thinking. His mind whirled, and he had trouble.
He suddenly realised! Others! Where though? He called out-"Is anyone there? I'm Berren!
Those lights. What are they? Lights flashed in the distance, Berren could not make out what they were. Then, wait, it clicked. Elemental dragons. Lightning. I was chosen for Lightning>

A woman appears into the darkness, she looks around and at first glance doesn't notice anything, but hears something in the void she's in. She closes her right eye and concentrates on listening, as whoever the voice belongs to, doesn't seem to be hostile for now at least. It would seem the voice speaking wants to test her capability in her strongest element, which without a doubt, was fire. How the test would begin, was uncertain to her however.

[To Leon] You Leon,have been given the element of Frost.Your first of three tests shall be to use the environment as both your weapon and your eyes.Remember that ice is like a mirror.

Suddenly,noises of bony feet started scraping the quietness.Shrieks of lost souls shouted...

[To Cale]Cale you are a special dragon knight,a hybrid if you will.You hold powers of the eight known magical and non-magical elements - Fire,Frost,Lightning,Earth,Air,Light,Shadow and Water.But you master none.Here you,like the others must endure 3 tests,to see how you handle your power.The first one starts now.

Cale found himself standing in a circular room,with 8 hallways leading to it.The room was illuminated,but the hallways dark as the void.The mysterious voice spoke again:

Here as you stand,you will fight the elements your power consists of.One antorach will come from each hallway,one by one.You must focus your power to destroy them,one by one.But know this,each antorach is immune to the element it was made of.


Footsteps were hear,but from which hallway...

[To Rin]You Rin,have been given Hell's very breath - the element of Fire.Untouched by age,but in no way immortal.You have been brought here to defend the empire,that has been forgotten by the dragon race.The dragon gods have chosen you to be one of the new Order of the Dragon.You,like others are a dragon knight.You must pass 3 tests,to become a real one.Your first test starts now.

The darkness,faded away and Rin found herself,in a cave like room,but more like under a volcano.There were no entrances or exits.The rocks,red and hellish fires or volcanoes,and covered in lava cracks.The darkness appeared again and the only thing visible was the lava cracks,the temperature was was high.The Dragon Voice spoke again:

Here you must use your powers to both see and survive.Manipulate the environment and use it as your weapon.

Again the dead shrieks were heard,as well as enclosing footsteps....

[To Cosmos]Cosmos,your second test awaits.Here you must,practice your abilities to hide in the shadows,and becoming one with them,as well as striking them with your weapon

Cosmos took a look from on top of the waterfall.It looked like the jungle was eternal.The sun started to set,faster that usual,slowly the light faded and was filled with darkness and shadows.Cosmos glided down with his wings and landed near one of the trees near the river.As he put his hand threw the shadows and saw how shadowic essence started coming from it.He slowly walked into the shadows,and focused on trying to meld with them.Suddenly,what appeared to be skeletons with torches came to the jungle.Cosmos had to hurry,before they saw him.Just as a skeleton was coming near the tree he's hiding,he suddenly vanished.The bony minion,never saw him.The half dragon could not even see himself.

Excellent! - he thought

He readied his black claymore and started to slowly walk out of the shadows.But as he stepped into the light,his body started reappearing.Cosmos quickly hid back in the dark spot...

There has to be some way to do this...

<Leon feels a suden warmth through his body as he listened to the voice>
so frost huh? that'll explain why i don't find it so cold anymore.

<Leon's ears pick up the sound of the feet and the shreiks>
Joy, how tiresome.
Weapon and eyes? i'll try that.

<Leons glares at the ice ground, trying to find any hint of apporching enermies>

Liches? Oh crap. <Berren lifts his sword from across his lap and uses it to get up.>
Well, I've dealt with undead before, but never liches. If I remember correctly, their corpses will light well. Hmm... <Once again, Berren readies his sword>

An elven body lay on the floor, above the mist.
He awoke to find he had his blade in his hand.
Where am I?
What is thie place?
He arose from the floor and stood looking in to the abyss.
He attempted to move but felt a force pushing down on him, not allowing him to move.

Rin takes off her eyepatch. She then unsheaths her sword and swings it to the wall in different locations to find the weakest spot, from which she would break through. After finding the suitable spot, she says to herself;"Now let's see what we've got here." She then sheaths her sword and starts gathering all of the heat around into a single spell, enhanced by her own magic, to blast the wall in her way.

<Leons lets out a deep long sigh>
i can't think of anyway to find my enermy.
its to dark in here
<something buzzes in leon's skull>
wait... i know that feeling. it means magic is being used...
thats it, this acrursed darkness is magical.
i'm surrounded by ice.
i have to find a way to located enermies hidden in an magical darkness.
hmmm but i can control the ice...

<Leon drops to his knees and places his hands on the ice>
i.... i can feel their locations...
<leon forces his will into the ice, making it do his biding. everywhere that an enermy creature is standing a long stalagmite made out of ice raises out of the ground impaling it.>

Welcome mortal to the tests of life.You among seven other have been chosen to be the dragon knights of "The Order of the Dragon".You have been granted the power of the Shadow element.Your first test starts now.

Ceduil was standing in the center of a glowing star.

Use the your power to bend the darkness in this void,letting light in.Under wrath shouted their black hearts out.They started to come closer and closer

Who is that?
He looks down at his feet noticing the glowing star beneath him.
I shall do as you wish.
He pushes his hands in to the air attempting to move the shadows.
His face fills with worry as he can hear voices coming closer to him.

One of the Liches emerges from the darkness, raising it's staff, and a ball of lightning bursts forth and towards Berren. Berren panics, he puts his arm out and spreads his finges, as if to stop the bolt with his hand, and prepares to die...

Berren opens his eyes. The Lich has retreated slightly, keeping its hollow eyes upon him. He looks at his still outstreched hand and gasps. Hovering a centimetre from his palm is a ball of bright blue lightning. He slowly turns to the Lich and launches the ball at it. The Lich howls a deathly, unearthly howl and writhes as the lightning lands on its chest, incinerating the animated corpse. Berren stands there, rigid, with lightning jumping from his fingertips.

cale:me...a dragon knight?"laughs"your joking right?
<cale sighs>
i guess i'l play along for now.
<cale runs down one of the halls>
cale:i must be insane.everyone know that the dragons are all dead.

<lies down on the ice with the back of my head resting on my hands>
So mister disembodied voice, whats my next rest?
its not that i mean to rush you.
its just that its very tiresome and lonely here.

<leon sits back up and reachs over to his bastard sword then examins a couple notches in it>
well since i'm stuck here for the time being i may aswell do a bit of repair to my weaponry.

<leon pulls a course sharpening stone out of his back pack, and starts to sharppen the blade of his sword>

Rin gathered a massive fireball roughly half the size of her body and threw it at the wall which opened up a path. "So what shall be my next task.";She said while walking out of the room. Rin thought to herself:*I knew there still were a few dragons around, but this is something I did not expect.*

Two more Liches come out of the shadow to attack Berren. He charges on of them slicing off it's staff-arm, his blade flickering with lightning, setting it's tattered robes alight. He spins around to decapitate the other. The one-armed lich lunges at Berren, but he grabs it's hand and twists it, breaking it off at the wrist, then smashes off it's head with the hilt of his sword.

As I part my hands, the darkness shrouding the light parts letting the light through.
This causes the voices to slowly back off as I cause more light to pass in to the abyss.

<Leon looks around at the icy void he is stranded in>
Err mister disembodied voice? helllooo?

<even tho the place is cold and air icy it no longer affects Leon>
its nice not to be freezing my bum off anymore
<He noticeses something else>
hey, my breath isn't steamy anymore. this is strange

After a while of waiting for new orders, Rin notices that she's gained an aura of flame around her. She decides to just sit down and wait for a bit longer before venturing any further. She thinks to herself:*What the hell is this 'dragon' doing, making me wait this long... If it's just toying with me, it'll learn a totally new definition for pain. And what's up with this aura of mine, the flame used to be black, not deep red...*


(OOC>/yawn, the damn clock is 4:51am. )

<Leon stands up>

Hey? Helllooo? where've you gone?
it's really boring here!

<suddenly the frozen ground beneth leons feet trembles>
woah, almo-
<another visous tremor shakes the ground and leon falls flat on his face>

The Voice now speaks to all the dragon knights:

Those tremblings,they aren't natural.

The ground trembles even harder.As Cosmos reaches to attack a skeleton from behind,the ground,rapidly moves and makes him fall to the grassy surface.

What the...?

As he spoke,the undead before him,slowly turned to ash and dust.

Something isn't right here.

With those words the ground shock again.A bright light flashed in front of his eyes and then he found himself to the place of where he took his first test,only partially illuminated and many seven other people with him.

Who are you,and where... - the Voice interrupted.

Listen to me,all of you.It turns out that Herax has been monitoring all of by magic.He has now found a way into this dimension.You eight are not yet powerful enough to stop him,even with my guidance.The only thing i can do is get you to safety.

Again a flash of bright light shined briefly.All eight of the knights found them selves in what appeared to be an underground ruin.Cosmos immediately saw a ancient,but still intact,banner that had a symbol.This mark was similar to the symbols on the back of the dragon knight armors,everyone wore.The Voice was heard once again:

This is the old headquarters of the Order of the dragon.Time is of the essence.I will explain more about Herax within time.For now go south until you find a large dragon statue.That means you have found the last remaining elemental dragon shrine.We shall speak again...

<looks around>
well its nice to have an change of scenary.

<Leon reaches into his pack and pulls out an long green leather cloak of elven make, then pulls it on over his armour and then pulls the hood up to cover his pointed ears>

<looks at the other 7 dragon knights, studing all the faces and weaponry>

Err hello?

As Ceduil looked around at the new scenary, he noticed the other 7 people.
He heard Leon saying 'Hello' to the rest of the group, he replied with 'Well, its seems we are all in the same situation'.
He pulled his blade from out of the harness in which was attached to his back.
'We could make a move towards this statue together as a group. That way if ever a battle was to occur, we could go at it together'.

<cale looks at the man wearing the green elven cloak>

<he leans against a wall and looks around the room>
so i take all of your all dragon knights?

Cosmos also notices the other dragon knights.He turns to Cale.Indeed i am a dragon knight.So who are you all.My name is Cosmos.Shadow element.

Before receiving an answer,Cosmos noticed an old wooden chair and sits on it.As he sits,his wings sprout open by accident.

<mutter something in elvish at the man who'd replied to my 'hello'>
anyway from what i've been told Mister we are Dragon Knights.
but then again i've been stuck in an ice box for the last couple days. little sketchy on the details.

Ceduil looks at Cosmos as if to find his question a bit out of the ordinary but still responds.
I am Ceduil, Elf of the moon. I use the element of shadow.
I am glad to meet you all.

Cosmos stood up and walked over to a doorway.The door was was destroyed.He too a peek and saw a big circular room.It had chairs around a stone table.

I believe i found the Order's meeting room.

A look of anger passes over the face of a man leaning against the wall of the old headquarters ruins. Of all of the Eight Knight's gathered in the small area his armor is the only one which looks worn down and used.

The Man: " Dragon Knight's?.....No....I don't think so, You haven't even completed your tests yet. Still you were chosen to become the next batch of Dragon Knight's.....So I suppose I'll show you the respect you Seven deserve and consider you Members of the Order of the Dragon......but Knights....No......not until you've earned the Title. "

<sighs and pulls down hood revealing pointed ears>

<turns around and gives an icy look at the man with worn down armour>

Cosmos quickly turned to the old knight in worn out armor.

You,your armor.It's like ours.Are you...are you a Dragon knight.I don't remember you at the tests?

Cosmos was speechless,as he thought that this knight had been here long before his or the others' time.
