ok im using windows vista right so i asked how i can run a mod and they explain me ho to i finally got the mods running but now my character wont block he does the action but its like if i wasnt i mean i he raices the shield and thats it the ncp hit the shield but it does not count it instead hits me and the block level its 12 just about to go upp to lv 13 but it wont block

You still take some damage when you block, just not as much. Blocking without the shield is not as effective, you will take more damage. A solid hit on the shield can stagger you also. Use the block to set up your next hit.
