ok im new whit the cs, and i want to create a chest that when u put grand soul gem inside and cast soultrap on it , i get black soul gems ??? what is the way to do it ? and what is the script name to use...i already try something, but it dosnt work ! thanks !


#2 i want to use a switch whit the elevating stairs that we see in alyeid ruins how do i do that ? is it the same procesus for a remote door ? thanks for ur time !

Scripting isn't easy to learn and there are no easy answers, the best thing you could do is to go the ESCSWiki and read as many tutorials as you can find.

The scripts name is NecroAltarScript, you just have to select it on the chest`s page. It should work then. I just hope you know, that black soul gems can be produced only on a certain day of the week.

even if the pink light (script) is not use it will be on a cretain day the same ?

It should work, the pink light`s script is there only to make the light appear and disappear, and the light is there to let you know when the right time for black soulgem making is. If you give the light`s script on a chair and place it next to the altar, it would have the same effect - "the mystical chair of necromancy" .

The functionality of the altar (and the light) is handled by another script - NecroAnchoriteQuestScript. You better not change anything in there, or it could break the Mages Guild questline.
