I couldn't find any thread about this. Is it possible to buy slaves in MW? I don't mean in the main quest for the ashlander guy. I want also know where it is possible to get them. Can you give them weapons and armor to fight with? I'm trying to build an army of slaves.

There aren't any slaves to buy unless you have a related quest. I don't know if there's a mod for doing such thing (never heard about) and sincerely, I'm not interested.

Wrong.
The Festival Slave Market outside Tel Aruhn sells 10 slaves. You can buy them for 1,000 gold.
They are pretty useless, only following you around and won;t stop until they -or you- are dead.
But you can free them, which is useful for boosting Jobasha's Disposition.
The slave market is run by the same Dunmer who sells you Falura Llervu in the Main Quest.
Another note: Brallion in Sadrith Mora also is a slave trader, though he does not actually sell the slaves to you.

Can you equip the slaves with weapons and armor? I have I few characters to remake out of slaves. Also, can you tell their stats to tell how much they can hold?

You can buy slaves at Tel Aruhn at the slave trader outside the Tel Aruhn underground. However they can't be given weapons or armour - all you can do is free them after paying the 1000 gold.
There are a few plugins that give you the ability to buy slaves, but Dracandros' voice is probably the best. Go to
morrowind summit to find the latest version. This plugin will also allow you to order around other guild members who are lower in the rankings than you. For example the Master of the Fighters Guild will be able to order around just about anyone while a swordsman will not.

You can use the spell of domination to get people to follow you around. I don't know if they will then fight for you but I assume they probably do. They are not slaves as such but behave as is they were.

This would also be better, because then you can use the spell on guards, and they have weapons and armour

You can also buy slaves in Sadrith Mora, but that little slave market is well hidden. It is somewhere around the little market-place.

My PC won't let me get any plugins or mods so I'll just hve to use domination.

Well, that combined several unique qualities:
a) Wrong. Tribunal adds A mercenary (Calvus Horatius). And he does not level up. He merely heals himself during battle if you give him potions.
B| Spammy and Repetitive. This has been mentioned many times before.

Slaves are really dumb to have. They fall off the docks in Tel Aruhn when I try to leave by boat and then drown. You can't equip them with armor or weapons. I've tried sneaking and putting stuff in their inventory but it doesn't work. The only slave worth getting is the one in the MQ.
