Well, I'm really interested in modding and everything, have downloaded OBMM, but when I try to run the manager, an error comes up: "To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v2.0.50727 Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework."
....
I would download the Framework, but whenever I try (via the .NET download page on the Windows website), a small window appears saying that the page cannot be found...
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything I can do to get it?

The dot net framework is a Microsoft program, and should be available through the Microsoft update site. It is used by many other programs besides Oblivion. think it is up to version 3.0 now. It is not available at the Tesnexus site. Microsoft has a FAQ and troubleshooting section on their windows update site.

I have been to the Microsoft website, and have tried multiple times (on Firefox, IE7, and Safari) to download the framework, but every time I try, the page automatically skips to an error screen, which reads, "Firefox/Safari/Internet Explorer can't establish a connection to the server at download.microsoft.com."

I have used both Firefox and IE to download updates from their site. If you cannot establish a connection, the problem is probably something on your computer, such as a firewall. Or you are not signed in as administrator. IE will probably be best to use as it is what MS expects at the site.
I have also hear that there is a virus that can block access to the site as the updates will kill the virus if they are installed.
Also, if you haven't downloaded anything from there, your computer is probably way behind in updates. They put out from 4 to 12 updates every month on the second Tuesday of the month. When you do finally manage to get online with them it might take a while to download everything and get caught up.
