I also asked for this some time ago before file description were available due to all the questions I got for mods with a ton of attached files (
Lost Paladins of the Divines) but once the file descriptions were made available, those kinds of questions kinda just melted away except for those people that never read anything and want things done for them.
I found the following very helpful for users to decide what to download:
Filename: The filename should contain the name of the mod along with the version. If it is a patch or upgrade, be sure to include a version from and version to as part of the name.
Examples:
Lost Paladins 1_1 OMOD-Ready
Lost Paladins 1_1 OMOD
Lost Paladins 1_0 to 1_1 Patch
Lost Paladins 1_0 German
Lost Paladins 1_0 JapaneseFileDescription: The file description should contain eye-catching descriptors along with a concise explanation as to what it is.
Examples:
Lost Paladins 1_1 OMOD-Ready
