Just wondering if someone has made any kind of horse armor that adds stuff to the mesh? Or has made a nif that adds stuff to the mesh so it didnt alter the original mesh. For example added skulls, horns, shields, etc.... to the armor either add ons to the armor or added them to the armor itself. I think this would be sweet to have a horse armor that had more to it than just recoloring it.

I plan on doing a set of "evil" horse armor as part of an upcoming mod. I'll release it separately when it's done.

I agree that your idea is really cool, I'd love to see a totally different horse armor mesh. These are some pretty cool images that I haven't seen released yet. I especially love the idea of the horses legs being armored. :/

I typed in horse armor and still didnt find one horse armor with new mesh. All I found was retextured of the official horse armor. Not any new meshes like what this whole topic is about. This whole topic is about new meshes for horse armor, or add ons for the horse armor that require new meshes. If you look, I have uploaded my own horse armor retextures to the site.

I've played around with armoring the legs, adding spikes, etc. The spikes worked fine, especially the hons on the head plate. The leg armor needs work though, as I'm still having animation issues.

I barely use My horse anymore since the Akatosh mount came out....But that would change if new horse meshes come out. There should be a more knight feel to it.

I am glad im not the only one. I will just have to wait for them to be released!

Well I am currently getting someone to re-create the DLC armor meshes. These will be a more detailed but not much different in shape or anything. There does not seem to be much interest in creating new horse armor models. What a pity.
