Has anyone ever played this game? I found out about it in Grade 9... it was one of the few websites that had a game on it that SmartFilter did not block... it was a cheesy like RPG, and it was a MMORPG,... many people played it, and still do, but now you have to pay for a few features...but its still free to the poor Like myself j/k... or am I?

I kind of play it. They upgraded the "poor man's version", so now there is brand new 3d graphics and music for free..... As well as many new features that are also free.

dont install runscape when it says that it needs it to run the program because runescape has adware or spyware stuff which slows down your computer. the same as wild tangent

Then just use ad-aware to get rid of it.... or play the game online.

yeah, in members you can do herblaw, fletching, agility and theiving

Herblaw - potion making (hard)

Fletching - Bow and arrow making (bronze arrows to rune arrows and 6 different bows)

agility - jumping over traps and climbing stuff (boring)

theiving - uhh....theiving....(simple, and profitable)

itll be interesting to see where the game will be in a few years time, only time can tell, it has potential, but so far (in free worlds) its full of retarded 10 year olds begging for free stuff, whereas in members worlds, everyones nice and theres the occasional person youd love to hate, although, i just walk around and add people to my ignore list for fun...makes it look long. =D

I would seriously pay for the game if there was a little more to offer... maybe better graphics or something...

eh, december last year Runescape 2 came out, changes the whole thing...it can feel like your getting ripped off sometimes, i know, ive stopped playing and im gonna renew my membership next school holidays (4 weeks time, i just finished exams =(.....)

theres many plans for the game now...if i knew what they were i would say them.

Whats Runescape 2? Or is that what's out right now... Because I tried playing the game again last night, and its a lot different from what it was like the last time I played it... Now its somewhat 3d lol

i quit rs due to the stupid updates and jagex destroying the game....i mean they got rid of pking!

Runescape also experienced bots advertising, and I'm likely to report every bot I see, but if Jagex is looking for their vlunderable spot, I'd say withirs.net. That IS what the bots mentioned. Trying to buy gold with real-life money. Plus, even if you used your account password on any sites they advertise, they're likely(which we all know) hack your account. However, I'm not on it much since the updates, and Jagex is actually making the game even worse than it already is. They may not realize that. I have a lv. 54 account, but my main account has about 8 black marks. That's why I started off with a perfectly clean one. My alternate's a noob, but I can get the levels soon enough, but as I said, I don't play it much since Jagex ruins it by annoying teleporting NPCs such as Bob the cat, throwing people in jail, and s**t.

to many changes in such a little time thats why i quit, but when they made wildy capes for free players i made 1 mill

rune scape is to be updated MAJOR LEAGUE GHETTO DONUT ( i never realized how much fun it is to type with capitals )
any way updated to the max graphics and more goodness

Yeah. I used to play it. Man, I used to play alot along with a friend. Well, it's pretty good but the content kinda gets tedious. Im ganna keep my membership just in case i get bored of my 360 and other PC games.

i used to play a while ago then quite cause it got boring then came back and the wildy was gone (whats with that) they really killed the game doing that i reckon but now i have come back to it and enjoying it but as i said what happen to the wildy man!

its not one of my favourte games to warrock and sword of the new world but i like it quite entertaning and i got nearly 99 fishing! haha

xD I used to play Runescape alot, but they are dumbing it down so much, it's not even funny. The wilderness is what really got me... The new stand/walk/run animations are horrible, and, well, whips look like sausage links. >< Although, I still play now and then when I get bored.

In one of their news articles they said their bringing back pking, but with a big difference. There will be separate worlds/servers dedicated to it and on these servers you can pk anywhere, that should be pretty cool having clans fight for control over falador, or ambushing people in mines.

They said there will be a few extra surprises with that update aswell. They didn't give a date for when it's supposed to come out so it will probably be a while yet.
