help.gif as the title says.........what now? i went to Tel Fry, but i couldn't do anything. I cant even open the little chsets in the corpusium or something. is there something i can do? Is there a code (pc) if nothing else? I mean, i do have a save game back up, but i've gone a good ways since then and don't want to have to do everything over again. rip_1.gif sick.gif

Er... You know, it'd help us just a little bit if we knew exactly where you are and what went wrong -- have you gotten instructions from Caius yet? Have you delivered the Dwemer boots to Fyr? Will Fyr not acknowledge your infection? Have you fscked things up by killing someone associated with Fyr and you want him to forgive you so you can continue on with the main quest? Are you just past the first Strider, with a group of cyber frogs attacking you?

Seriously, people... Think before you post... However, at least it's better than the traditional "[B][I][U][FONT=Arial][SIZE=14][COLOR=red]HELP I THINK IVE KELD SUM1????????????????///????? poster_oops.gif sad.gif help.gif poster_oops.gif sad.gif help.gif poster_oops.gif sad.gif help.gif poster_oops.gif sad.gif help.gif poster_oops.gif sad.gif help.gif "

If there was a message box saying that you were cursed and now have corprus, don't worry; THAT'S SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. If not, it's probably a glitch of somekind, you should wait for Marx to post a brilliant solution. biggrin.gif
cmac
It's not a glitch- the PC always recieves Corprus disease from Dagoth Gares in Illinubi.

After becoming afflicted, you should go see Caius Cosades. He will tell you to visit Divalyth Fyr of Tel Fyr to recieve your cure. He gives you 1,000 gold and a gift to bump Fyr's disposition.

Travel to Tel Fyr and talk to Fyr himself (upstairs in Onyx Hall) to recieve your cure-- after an errand. Also take advantage of the 4 unique items that can be found in Tel Fyr.
Esol
Ah, got it. I got him to ask me about the boots and he cured me. Thanks for your help. smile.gif

you know you might regret getting it cured so soon. Because if you keep sleeping for days and days while you have it you get stronger and stronger and when you get it cured your strength and endurance dont go back to normal. From sleeping a long time with corpus you can get your strength up to 250! (or at least i think thats the maximum is)
cactoblasta
This happens only on unpatched or XBOX versions.
Sir Lancelot3
i'm glad i'm a redguard and have a 75% against diseases, ahhhhh!
Malchik
Sadly Sir Lancelot, if you read the whole thread you will observe that you cannot avoid getting corprus if you do the main quest - even with 100% disease resistance.

no i do beleive you can do it with all patches thats how i did it. Really if you know how to use it corpus is the best thing that can happen to your character.

Thank you.

So, essentially, the Daedric Crescent IS in Tel Fyr.

Silvuru, cmac - please guys, can we be nice to each other. Essentially you are both correct. No more quibbling pedantry!

Just trying to avoid 2000 spammy nja-nja-nja-nja-nja posts, your Dark0neship. Keeping the forum clear for more pertinent posts on goats, llamas and the Dahlia Llama; not to mention the suspect fishy sticks, sir - er -

I win, I win! Do I get a prize?

maybe you are confused. corpus lowers speed, agility, personality, intelligence. It raises strength and endurance. i think that is right
