That looks really nice, but the end of the hilt might look better as a cross instead of just a + sign.

yeah, i know that would look cool... (maybe a crucifix at the end) i dont know if much ppl would like it !

Well there are plenty of holy items that this could be modeled after or for. Would be some thing you would see a holy knight or paladin wielding. I would say make the blade longer than what it appears like on paper also, maybe to have a short sword and a long sword of it.

yeah i know the blade looks a lil short,... like i said any one who want to do it could add stuff to it but keep the basic shape of it !

(and then repost the result) if its only about the blade it would be more simple to just use "paint" or whatever program and just add a part in the middle of the blade to make it longer ! no ? ok here's some improvement of the sword :
