alas i found another official mod that doesnt work with vista well not the mod in and of itself but the installer. Does anyone have the battlethorn castle on their computer i bought it so thats not a problem. plz help. This will be perfect for my Elven BattleMage/Paladin.

Mine installs fine, maybe try running as administrator.

no the exe installer will not run on vista you will get an error i have tried it with all the other official plugins too and everyone fails. But never mind about this i have the castle now got it from my brother.

Strange, I wonder why yours wasn't working. Oh well enjoy it, it's pretty cool.

Vista has no problems with Oblivion or anything to do with Oblivion

As long as you turn off the pointless/annoying UAC in Control Panel you'll have no problems with Vista.

The only reason the site says Oblivion etc doesnt support Vista is because it came out before Vista did and therefore isnt tested.


Trust me it works perfectly, if its not working its something at your end.
