So I destroyed the heart, killed Dagoth, and nothing happened except for a journal entry update that says I killed him and the giant artifact was destroyed, causing an earthquake. Whenever I talk to Vivec or any other NPC involved in the prophecies and main quest, it's as if I didn't kill him -- my wise-woman guide even said "I am distressed that you have not completed the prophecy yet..." What gives?

Search before you post and hope that Peregrine is in a forgiving mood today.

Which he happens to be. I don't recall any threads on this bug, so I'll leave this one alone.

Did you use any Intervention/Recall spells after you killed him? Azura is supposed to appear in front of you and give you a ring, but she appears only at the door in the room before Akulakhan's Chamber. You will get another journal entry when you meet Azura.

Exactly what happened to me. I used an Almsivi Intervention Spell after killing Dagoth Ur, and I was puzzled because nothing seemed to have changed. You have to walk out on your own, and you'll meet Azura... and then CONGRATULATIONS! The main quest is over... but there are still many secondary ones to play

Ahhh I see. Yes, I used a recall spell. I guess I have to trek back over there. Thanks for your help!

Funny, I was just about to make a thread about this, since I JUST beat Dagoth Ur... He was a bit of a joke though... I used my Recall and went straight to the wisewoman... but I didnt know you had to walk out on your own...
So once you get the ring from Azura,... your done the main quest?

I also beat Dagoth Ur but i didnt use any recalls or interventions and i spoke to azura and everything. But i also got a glitch where certain people (Fyr) tell me that ive failed and should talk to saryoni but saryoni thinks i really did it. Is there anyway to fix this glitch? (I thought this isnt really thread hijacking because its sort of the same problem)
