I am not looking forward to it, because of my internet on the wrong computer situation, but I am sure it will be good, most likely better than EQI. Lots of EQI players I know are going to stick with it though because of guild commitment.

BTW, isn't the BETA out?

Not really. I'm looking foward to Guild Wars. (Get the BETA client, now!RIGHT NOW I SAY!.) Free servers, and from the Blizzard rejects that brought us Diablo 2. Oh...the clans! The clans! Buying dies for clan flags and clothings. Guild halls... YOUR GUILD BEING MASTER OF THE WORLD W00t! Sorry,I'm getting caried away, and completly off-topic. The first Evercra...errr I mean Everquest was highly addictive, and me being one who is easily influenced, did not want to posion and throw away my social life in such a way. When I do that,I want to do it on my own terms.

H'ok, maybe I'm the only one, but I've been watching this one for quite a while. Supposedly they are trying to make it more geared toward people with lives than the first one was. From what I've read, it looks better than any other MMORPG out or in development. The graphics are amazing IMO for an online game, especially for an online game. The only thing I'm worried about is monthly server fees dry.gif . The voice-acting sounds amazing though smile.gif

Well, I'm not really too psyched about it... I never found Everquest very impressive and can't see why people find it so addictive tongue.gif Final Fantasy XI owns it completely IMO. Though I must admit the graphics are very impressive for EQ2. But graphics aren't everything...

Basically I've lost faith in the EQ series after playing the first one. I'll keep my wallet away from this one wink.gif

everquest2 will be plagued with the same problem eq1 was plagued with. All the updates won't focus on fixing bugs but rather fixing "balance issues" and making the end game so time involving that people literally give up their real lives to be able to spend enough time playing to get a small iota of anything done. Not to mention that the majority of the players suffer from social retardation and a severe lack of intelligence. Im sticking to FFXI and world of warcraft when it comes out. combined 20 a month isn't too bad really.
