Hi there.

A few weeks before I began working on "Elvenguard", I started to create the armor of the Galadhrim, the woodelves in "lord of the rings".


Now, a few months after the release of "Elvenguard", I thought it might be a good idea, to finish what I have started. But as my knowledge and my experience in 3d-modelling increased during the making of the Noldor-Cuirass, I decided to start this from the beginning.




When the meshes are finished, I will improve the textures. The colours are not final. The armour has to be more shiny and golden. You see, still a lot of work to do...

Damn cool. I like LOTR stuff that works in Oblivion, unlike ringwraith armour mods and such, which seem a bit out of place. Cheers + can't wait to dl. Many tanks to ye.

I guess you allready know my "Elvenguard"-pi? This brings the Cuirass of the Noldor to Oblivion.


Update...

Meanwhile I changed the colour in a more darker one. Looks good in my eyes. And I made a pair of boots.

All the time I was bothered by something... I did not hit on it. Till yesterday. The Cuirass was too large in the breast area. Hence, I have increased the arm cuttings and have adapted the texture accordingly. Now the coat must be reworked again of course... O.O

Actually I wasn't. However, I just downloaded it and love it. have kudos. Awesome mod. brilliant. A must for anyone.
Although armour and weapons perhaps a touch underpowered, and some unenchanted versions of the blades would be cool too. Still love it, especially the dark stuff.

I personally hate Lord of the Rings, but that armour is bloody awesome. I so can not wait to get that armour.

I love armour... it's one of the only things that is at least lore-neutral 90% of the time. =D

nice, looks like good armor, you should really finish it because it looks extreamly nice, i cant really help you but it looks like a good piece of armor though.

But currently I'm working on an update for my Elvenguard-mod. This is much more urgent, because I made a mistake with the textures. This has to be emended. If this is done, I will continue working on the Galadhrim.

I worked on the Galadhrim-Armour again. I eliminated some mistakes, unwrapped the cuirass once more ( I stopped counting how often I unwrapped that thing...), made some changes in the textures, build the bracelets... and here we are:

Anyway, as Beradrin said, is this still in development?

Yeah I'd like to know if its still in development as well. The MERP mod could DEFINITELY use this armor!

I've sent Arynn a PM asking him his current progress. Even the members of MERP would be willing to finish his WIP armor if Arynn doesn't have time to finish it himself. No use in such quality armor going to waste!

I sent him a PM days ago and he told me that he still works on it, but he is never satisfied with it and also he has other projects so he doesn't work alot on it...

@names_are_useless: this is a bit off-topic, but will the MERP Team also do the Galadhrim clothes ?? (Those that Haldir and the other Elves use in the first movie when the Fellowship arives at Lothlorien.)

We hope to do the Lorien robes and all that stuff as was seen in FOTR

Hi everybody. I just wanted to tell you, that my Galadhrim-Armor is still in Progress. It's my personal never-ending-story...

But: I will release it in February. Promise!
