Hi All

I bought the house in Bruma from the city countess and i want to remove this quest from my active quests list.To do this,i need the quest ID for using “player.setstage (Quest ID) (Stage)” cheat.I don’t want to finish the quest with regular way cause shopkeeper ask for a lot of money for some useless furnitures.I request you to write me the quest ID if you know.Actually it would be great that if you write all “buying house” quest IDs in all cities,cause obviously i will have the same problem after buying house in other cities.

The quickest way to get this info is to look up the info in the Construction set. Sometimes you can also get the commands from UESP wiki.

Open the CS and then at the top click on File. In the box that appears click Data and then Oblivion. Wait until it opens fully. Then press on the top again 'Character' which opens another box. Press Quests. In the new table that appears open Column two 'quest stages'. Scoll down the left hand list of quests until you find the one you need - in your case HouseBruma and see which number quest stage finishes it. Afaik for all but Anvil the command will be SetStage HouseBruma 30 where you change the city name as appropriate.

You can use this to set stage of any quest but overuse can screw up quests too.

The furnishings may seem expensive to you now, but when you get to around lvl 25 you're gonna wonder what the heck to do with that 500,000 septims in your purse
