Hey there! This is actually the first forum I've ever joined. Hope I do OK.

I'm a born and bred gamer. Been doing it since I was four years old. I've played Oblivion since it was released. I've gotten pretty far but never really "finished" it.
That's cos I'm studing at university away from home and the one computer that I have powerful to play the game is at home and I can't bring it to me. I know that's not much of an excuse but whenever I've gone for a long time not playing it I get this urge to start from the beginning again. I feel like the old one is not "my game " anymore.

But enough about my problems. I'll finish it someday. I originally join to have access to the TESNexus stuff but then I got tied up in this stuff. Addictive hey?

Anyway that's me.

Welcome too - from a recent newbie. Don't worry too much about all the posts insisting you OBEY THE RULES. I find it rather amusing in a way, although initially I found it rather alarming. All the people here seem to be genuine, thoughtful, kind and considerate, and noticeably ... intelligent.
This is the most peaceful forum I've ever come across and, while it's proper to have rules, I think the message could be toned down a little. It's almost like 'people' are paranoid that someone will come along and ruin the tranquility. It could be that this has happened previously but, quite honestly, the moderators here have been so efficient during my GMT visits it simply will not happen.

So welcome, observe the rules, and relax. You've just found the perfect Gamers haven.

Every one tells me to OBEY THE RULES but I don't even know the rules and I have made it this far.

I realize the comment was made in jest. However, far too many people do not bother to read the rules and are then surprised when a moderator lands on them hard for what they thought was an innocent comment. The rules are there for a reason. Please take a little time and read over them to avoid this kind of surprise.
