The best modder of all time decided he/she wants to make a house mod for you. He/she knows how to do ANYTHING. Describe to me everything about this house.

Just curious to see what everyone thinks. ^^

The IC Waterfront shack, only with my "Partner" having a bed in there too.

Hmm... Oh yeah, plus about 15kg of marijuana would be nice too. Sorry, skooma. And a bong, in front of the fire.

Oh yeah, and a little place to put my bow (as the floor is now kinda crowded with about 3 ppl living there)

Ah, heaven.

i think my dream house would be ayleid like, in a nice setting with freindly npc dreadra every where
and for it to have everything possable like.... living room, kichen, arena, pool, corridors, barracks, guards, npcs,
mages room and i can go on forever if i want, but not to forget, for the ayleid ruin interior to look like it has been recently built

Well, You asked for it...

... This is why I started learning to mod...

Mine is called 'Whitefang Sanctuary'

It has an entrance behind the most spectacular waterfall in Cyrodiil. As you enter from there, you are in the reception hall... here water cascades down the walls, for halfway around this large circular room. This creates a pool, in which many varieties of fish swim... which you may view, as you cross the entrance bridge above them. The ceiling here is supported stone, as this room is basically a modified natural cavern behind the falls. I have two gatekeeper guardians here , who are loyal to me. This room contains my teleporters to other locations throughout the world, which friends throughout the land are welcome to use to come and visit, seek counsil, or come to purchase from my shopkeepers, which are located deeper within the sanctuary. Steps, opposite of the waterfall entrance will lead you to a door, which leads to my inner sanctum.

In this very large, multi-level room, you will find where my harem girls and I dine, near the hot tub and pool area. A large bar and lounge area are also nearby. An upstairs 'off limits area', where the harem girls and I sleep. (also a door to my treasure room is located from up here). Beneath our sleeping area is a large, 'in wall' aquarium, which is a joy to view, while swimming in the pool below. Close to the dining table is a door that leads to the large kitchen, a well (which has a secret swimmable entrance via the outer lake), and servants quarters. Opposite of the stairs leading to my sleeping area, are two other sets of stairs, which lead up to a mezanine area ( the kitchen area is below this level), overlooking a working battle arena. Also located off of this level are doors leading to my 'Arcane arts area' 'Merchants area' and 'Guest Quarters'

The 'arcane arts area' contains everything a mage needs! It also has a portal to Oblivion, and two lower levels... one of which leads to a labyrinth (I still have yet to fully explore, since it's discovery), and the other leads to my Dragons Lair. The Dragon and I have a mutual understanding, in that My treasure is mine and his belongs to him... he does have an opening that he may fly up through, from this natural cavern.

The 'merchants area' contains three merchants and their living quarters; at the back of which is a door, which leads up to a tower entrance ( the only really visible structure, of 'Whitefang Sanctuary', from the outside ), which is another entrance for guests to come and shop.

The 'guest quarters' is actually a large suite. It has its own Masterbedroom, smaller bedrooms, a dining area, lounge area, and it's own pool. They're also servants in this area.

That's about it, I guess. I tried to be brief and I left out alot of details.

This is basically what I built for me smile.gif

For me, I prefer portable house where I can store all my stuffs 'on the fly'. Not too big or not too cramped, with enough storages to hold my things. I don't use other house mods 'really', though that doesn't mean I don't like manors or castles. I just hate to run around to find my stuffs, and walk tens or hundreds of meters to get to bed when I'm too tired to move.

I'd go with that house in a bottle idea. A lighthouse coloured windmill with a small garden and stairs down to the beach tongue.gif.

With three hentai shaped daedra adorning the beach laugh.gif.

And a long pier.

A nice Mansion. But live in a cottage in the grounds, quite far away from the house. I'd love it if the mansion was a rotting evil place filled with the undead and secret passages. And the cottage, well, a dog, cozy fireplace, and 1 armour rack to put the imperial dragon armour on (it's not that good but it gives a nice sense of acheivement), a dining table, bed and a desk. A stable would be nice, as well as some beautiful sea views and windows you can actually see through (with drawable curtains). Think of the mansion as the playground from hell. Light and dark in equilibrium. thumbsup.gif

MAN!! That sounds perfect!! did you release it yet? I would SO like to have something like that. I have no idea how to mod a house. I'm going to go look for it now. Must have, must have...
biggrin.gif

EDIT: Nuts, can't find it. Must not be out yet. Can't wait!!
MrSly
All I can do so far is copy stuff that's already made. I have NO idea how to make my OWN creation. I'm sure it's out there somewhere in the Wiki.

I'd like several different types of houses, depending on my character.

Ranger - A treehouse would be nice. I picture something like the treehouse in the show Crusoe!! Need a practice range and a bunch of animals running around it. Feeding stations for the animals, too. Gardens and traps around it would be helpful, too. A personal swimming hole with a few friendly fish is always relaxing.

Mage - White tower high atop a mountain. Lots of solitude. Needs Enchanting/Spellmaking/Alchemy stations, of course. Have a garden of ingredients. A display area for slain adversaries. A waterfall into the pool. A nest for my dragon mount. And an apprentice to do my low level bidding! Oh, and maybe a ghost to roam the halls telling stories of past eras.

Thief - Sewer grate entrance to large sewer area under the city. Should be a small community down there with merchants and a place to get stuff enchanted for you. Artificial monsters to get your archery skills up. An arrow factory. And secret tunnels into establishments around town, and the castle.

Fighter - My own keep. Lots of scantily clad females to entertain me after a long day of slaying. Sparring partners for different fighting styles. A captive dragon, just because. And a dungeon to torcher information out of the scum that I always seem to have to deal with.

endgamecutter
a nice fort in good condition (not all the falling apart traped sort of ones i always raid) with a number of weapon and armor racks to display all the stuff i collect (i aim to get one of each enchanted daedric item), a pet juggernaut (from warhammer) that i'd use for a horse, flesh hounds (the demonic warhammer kind) keeping the rent collectors away, and a viewing gate so i could watch warhammer 40k orks living their lives, cause what beats a WAAAGH? NOTHING!
The Black Ninja
It would be a dark but stylish mansion; kinda like the one in Fallout 3, but maybe a bit sized down. Huge, still, and after a magnificent entry room with chandeliers, a dark red rug leading from the doorway and two turning staircases leading behind a giant Elven-decorated door, and maybe some kind of a record-player-music-box-type music player (which would already be activated the first time you enter, strangely), this Elven door would lead directly into and endless pit pathed only by a thin daedric style bridge. In here you could store creatures and people that you somehow capture, throw em down the endless pit in which they are trapped eternally, create an army out of them of infinite beings as much as your fps can handle. Maybe it will have a floor who knows. Otherwise how would you get them out of there. Halfway across the bridge you would find a half-naked elven chick shackled to the bridge and once you free her she says "I am forever indebted to you" and you can either keep her as your lover / mistress or throw her into the pit and make her a zombie minion like everyone else. Plus there would be a quest that requires you to turn a bunch of required people and creatures in the neighborhood or something into ur minion that she informs you of. At the other end of this would be a hallway of containers with formaldehyde and various body parts of undead creatures such as liches and zombies and skeletons. Upon exiting this place through the next door, you (and your companion) will fall a large distance and you will not survive unless you have enough acrobatics skill or health. You will land in a giant desert with new creatures and rural cities not known to man (by now you're in another universe) Here you get to take over the central city and rule over this entire nation. From this nation you will collect minions for the endless pit. You get to name (rename) your nation, and everything. You get stronger and highly appointed living guards as well who have a chance of deceiving you though (attempted assassinations, political plots, betrayal) you can deceive them in the same way. When you get out of here, the main room branches off into a kitchen (in which you can cook food, giving it more positive effects and making it better for alchemy) or let it get moldy and more poisonous. you would have an indoor pool with a sunroof, and when you open this you find fifteen stories of baclonies going along the edges of this sunny tower to its roofless top. From this room there are gardens with hedge mazes and tunnels leading to ayleid ruins connected to the basement and to an escape out of the city walls. you also find old dungeons and servants' quarters and butlers who show you an armory of new weapons and can repair and recharge. Inclusive in these weapons are earlier / fantasized versions of guns and assault rifles (they would look more like bows and swords.) Also, special left-hand combat rapiers which are used with the gun in close combat. (only one attack: slash it upwards out of your sheath then replace.) but it would have a much higher chance of cutting off someone's head. Also, smaller knives as weapons and a set of new styles. Back on the main room, on the second floor, you encounter a wraith who tells you of spirits which carry items which together make the key to the mystery of the manor. You then encounter these creatures as they lead you through secret passages and trap doors one after another until you reach the fifteenth floor of the sunlit tower. on this floor you have a bedroom which looks down at the pool and the rest of the city (prolly should be outside of city) and the items you collect allow you to unlock some sort of orrery which allows you to stargaze and you gain some sort of greater power from it. That's my dream house mod. Like it? Wanna try to make it? If anyone's up for the challenge of making something like this at least that would be really awesome.
dgodwin
A keep like helms deep built into the side of a mountain. the actual interiors are inside the mountain. Waterfalls running along side or breaking up the fascaud. Imperial style would be nice. One portion built over a dragons lair. the dragon long dead bones remain. Maybe still alive though. It could be a guard or quest to kill dragon for hoard or ownership. Has anyone modded a dragon yet? part of the interior is still a cavern , with jewls and gold as dragon hoard. wizard tower and a dungeon tower. The rooms I like are :
1. imperial suite with master bed room.
A:alchemy room with auto sorter
B:display room
C:living room
D:kitchen
E:auboreum
F:library
G:armoury
H:observatory
I:storage room
Maybe ad some ghosts:)
Thats the best I can come up with at the moment.
