I do back one of his ideas, hearing your voice when you talk! Telepathy just isn't a good excuse for silence!

Does the comunity even have voice actors good and patient enough to do all those lines for all those different races?

Does anyone even have enough webspace and bandwidth to host those 2-3 additional gigs of data?

If you must hear your PlayerCharacter's voice, you can create a duplicate of your "self" and have a conversation with the duplicate.

Then you can kill your 'self' because this is the most unnecessary mod I can think of.

Peace sembay i like your ideas.

But you can hear your character speak. And it's quite interesting to do it, because you get to see how your character relates to other NPCs, by using the create duplicate method. I've done it. My character's main attribute is Personality, so I was delighted when I duplicated her and was able to experience interacting with her, hearing her voice. But other than that, this mod, in my opinion, would be labor intensive for very little payoff. It would be a momentary gimmick that would quickly lose it's luster.

I rarely interfere in some of these mod wish lists that I think are a waste of time, but this I hear over and over and really think it's beyond it's cost/benefit.

Lighten up people! Give her a break. This is supposed to be a friendly site about Tes mods, not about someone's language skills.

First, English is not her native language. Think how you might sound trying to communicate in German.

Re: Translation programs. I tried Bablefish and it garbled the meaning while giving a fairly literal translation of the words. It can handle some common idioms though. The translation programs will get better, but it will take some time to get nuances such as various types of humor to translate properly.

everyone is shizo... just depends on how deep you dive into the other personalities... (youre someone else if with friends, at work, with your mom, etc... freud goes even deeper into this but hes not free of critique thus i let it out)

her last post insulted me as a german to some extend as she made that remark about hitler (mind the single T), and talking about him here in the wrong context might even get you in jail (ya censorship rules i know)... joking bout him is common under friends but in public its kinda unwelcome as it makes everyone feel unpleasant for reasons to be looked for in the education system and each years cycle of the same annoying stories how nasty he was (do you repeat each year how custer decimated the indians? or carter the commies? or the cia the asians? the a-bomb and firebombs japan? i doubt it)....

as to spoken dialogue by the pc... this is absolutely irrelevant, first cause you just read what hes about to say and thus 90% would prolly just click on anyway if not totaly stoned, second because of the amount of spoken dialogue needed which of course would also never have the same quality as the vanilla lines due to the limited access to sufficent recording equipment and 3rd due to the incredible amount of data needed (ihate was right about a few gigabyte)

Why don't you stay in third person? That option is always open, and allows you to watch your character at all times. Have you tried other third person games? I used to play Tomb Raider for years and years and years. The last few years, the camera follows our Heroine in such a way that it's annoying as hell. I loved the old TR games from the late 90s best, a sentimental favorite I treasure. I have every TR game ever made for every platform ever made.

I understand what you mean about a mod to allow spoken dialogue but GTA San Andreas comes to mind,of course it was part of the original game, where the pc could answer npcs comments either negatively or positively,not much to it but i enjoyed that feature.
