Full Version: Saving ObSE scripts

I'm sorry if this is a n00b question which has been answered before, but I couldn't find anything with the search function or in ObSE's documentation.

I'm writing a script in which I am using some ObSE functions (namely GoTo and Label), but when I try to save the script, I get a message saying "script command GoTo not found." This prevents me from saving the script, even if it could be compiled.

I realise that others have probably had this problem and immediately seen how to get around it, or that I'm doing something uniquely stupid, but I really don't know what to do. I'd be very grateful if someone could point out what I am doing wrong.

NB:
I know that I have installed ObSE, because I am using (for some time) some other mods which state that they use it.
I have tried many different ObSE commands and all of them seem to produce this problem.
I have successfully written scripts using only the commands which come with the construction set, and they work without a problem.

Did you launch CS via OBSE Loader? You should use it to compile/save script with OBSE commands/functions.

Ah. Thank you. I suspected that it was something like that. I have since read the installation section of the readme and therefore know how to launch the CS with OBSE loader. I had looked at the readme when I first had the problem but I must have missed that bit.
