Okay, so the article http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/article.asp?SC...D=36546&p=4 talks about

iPreloadSizeLimit=

I am running 3.4 gigs of ram. I have 8 but thats for Vista 64, 32Bit windows only reconizes between 3.0 - 3.6 depending on your system.

Windows XP allows up to a maximum of 2 gigs of ram to be didicated to one program.

Idle I am running 500 megs.

I am hoping that if I am understanding this correctly, this is talking about the maximum amount of ram Oblivion uses. If so I am ubber happy because I can set it for the full 2 gigs.

Can someone confirm or clearify?

Basicly, if you have 2gig of ram or higher, set it to the maximum allowed which i believed was 16,102 for the cell buffers and the preload size to something like 21624000. This is the max, even if you have 4gb ram setting it higher will cause crashes/glitches.

In all hoenstly tho the performance increase isnt that grreat, only reduces loading stuttering (if you have a lot).

EDIT: Max values for 2gig ram of higher are this......

uInterior Cell Buffer=16

uExterior Cell Buffer=102

iPreloadSizeLimit=262144000
