Don't really care for the story behind her and "who she is." Also hate her hair But none of that makes a difference...if only I still used companions I might be able to find a few more...

I also like Rhianna a lot but Sonia is not bad at well.

I'm currently about to test Gabrielle the alchemist companion. Looks great.

Red Sonia has a few really bad bugs in her scripts so does the normal Sonia has some bad bits but still great to have around either fighting or asleep

Ruined-Tail A.K.A. Ruin. Hes a really fun battlemage, but I usually find him when i'm about level 5. At the start I save up money and buy the Imp companion from the cheydinhal petshop.

i ve never really found the need for a companion, all they've ever done for me is either hit me, get in the way of my blade, or both. having Rhianna or Sonia around as a healer is nice though, saves game hours

endgamecutter, yeah Companions do make mistakes but some do offer features that are really nice, for example Ramy can heal but she can resurrect the Players character as well.

I don't really use companions. Normaly only to try something new once I have done most of the rest of the game. That said Ruined-Tail is an excellent companion with a very compelling storyline that I have enjoyed even though I prefer the 'one man army' approach to Oblivion.l

My favourite from the very start and I would not play a game without her is Companion Nesshka the original by Rsdnt-Evle, not the one someone did over..She can go into Oblivion gates has in everyone when I completed the game the first time, never loses anything, you never lose her, she will hold the enemy back while you run for the Sigil stone if things get to hectic, and always came out alive..She is my loyal companion, and does regardles of others comments she is simplplist..and I followed her oen day, she take diffrent routes when you let her have her free time, and is not a robot..I find she does have a personality..also goes through SI, all of it..no problems..

Eh like I also love my Rhianna Redux, my godddess mage companion..Jumonji is some talented modder, and created Rhianna initially from Neeshka..

The new Rhianna Redux combat mod is awesome, she is loyal, but her scripts are so complex, you aslo ,must have OBSE 15, so shey has been updated allot.. but this last version is the most stable, with a few everyday scripts still a bit niggly but not enough not to have her, for her combat behavious is brilliant.la... eh like she cannot yet go into the SI, whereas the first Rhianna could, so theres where me me Neeshka comes in....but in my book she worth it..

I would not play a game without these two each for their reasons, they used to fight till I got the mod Companion rings you give them each one and they will not start a fight with each other..or you..you get 12 rings inthe mod..stops all the infighting..

So I could not pick one, for I like not travelling alone.. like both me mage and me mêlée back up, for different missions, I would take Neeshka where I wouldn't think about taking Rhianna for she'll protest and not like it..

I'm a big fan of Divineavenger's work and I almost exclusively use his companions however my favorite are ones I made on my own.
The companions made by myself are based off of my characters Aeil and Delacroi here's a few pictures of them.

My favorite DA companions are Feria, Tamara, and Naemya from his cute elves set.

My best companion so far is one I customized myself, he's a Master Armorer and Master of both Light and Heavy Armor with training and mercantile capabilities as well. The coolest thing about him, is that I never have to repair his weapons, or mine when he's fighting with me, and I am only using Companion-Share-Recruit with him instead of CM Partners.

Plus he's pretty easy on the eyes, and Meris has developed a bit of a thing for him. His looks could still use a bit of tweaking but he's so cool, she doesn't care about that so much. I'm going to work on him some more though.

i really like the argonian cog-rein. he looks awesome in tyhe gladiator armor he comes with. and this one orc, i forget the name but i really wanna get him too.

Predator is my favorite. He has all the crazy weapons plus that like throwing thing but some times he goes crazy and kills every 1. He attacked the imperial city for no reason it was weird lol

It's pretty good, I think. I use it quite a lot, I make friends with many of the NPCs, and I can then look into their inventories.. I don't really remember what all is different from V2 to V3 but I can give them spending money and tell them to go shopping, and dismiss them and send them back home if I don't need them anymore. I will often temporarily add a respawning character to my party because they can come in handy but I don't give them any items and if they get lost they're automatically dismissed. As long as we're in the same cell they'll follow my orders.

Oh, here are the things that were added by version 3, and they all work great!
3.10- Added learning spells, horse riding. Minor bugfixes.
3.11- Stopped teleporting on horseback.
3.12- Bugfixes, added loot options.
3.13- Fixed wandering off, reworked horse riding.
3.14- Fixed healing in combat, looting 0 weight items, more bugfixes.
3.15- Added organisation for non-persistent NPCs. Upped default range on teleport back. Added disable teleport option.
3.20- Migrated party handling to leveled list. Major behind the scenes changes.
3.21- Fixed horse riding errors caused by migration. Fixed healing.
