Please post grown up sentences in future soul stealer. The forum members are not fond of other kinds.

On the assumption that you destroyed the Heart of Lorken, leave the hall by the way you came in. That should activate the end of monster cutaway. Continue back into the next room to activate the end of quest cutaway. If you leave the chamber by any other means the quest is not closed and you need to go back and exit as said.

after killing dagoth ur your quest should be done so.....return to vivec and become the Nerevar
thanateros
Correction spectre, you are already the Nerevar Reincarnate. That's what the whole bit about the cavern of the reincarnate was about.

Maybe this should be in spoilers?
Warring Paranoia
Hmmmm this reminds me of a question I have.

After seeing the priest dude he gives me a message from Dagoth Ur, and then I even get to take a written one off of the priest's body. This lead me to the idea that maybe I could venture into the red mountain and join him rather than kill him. Is this possible, or is he just trying to lure you into a trap?
Ancalagon
It is impossible. All what Dagoth Ur says to you is 'Why have you come unprepared? Do not come back until you have...' and so forth.

So no, you cannot join Dagoth Ur.
cmac
Neither. As the storyline goes, he IS trying to get you to fight on his side to "purge Morrowind from the Imperial dogs and filthy n'wah," but you can't actually consumate that.

You end up fighting him through any dialogue option- you strike the first blow, and the fight commences from there. No options for a team-up.
