I have NO idea where to put this question, but it has to do with a mod, so here it goes: I tried to run the OBSE loader and it told me to make sure I ran it in the same file as Oblivion.exe , WHERE IS OBLIVION .EXE!??!? I looked in almost every folder and even used the little search feature! Any idea where it is? Im going insane here! wallbash.gif wallbash.gif wallbash.gif wallbash.gif wallbash.gif

It shall be in the same folder you installed the game. Assuming you didn't change the defaults must be something like:
C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion

I can't be sure why I never install games in the C: less yet in the Program Files folder.

If you right click the icon you use to access the game and chose "Properties" and click "Find target" you will be in the correct folder and this is valid to any and each shortcut in your desktop (or wherever else).

C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion

just place the OBSE launcher in that folder and it should work

You'll need to have the followings :
obse_1_1.dll, obse_1_2.dll, obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_0.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, and obse_loader.exe into your C:\Programs\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion, and not only the launcher.

You can also make a short cut ( right click-send it to.....) from obse_loader.exe to your desire location, desktop, (for example), and run the game from it. thumbsup.gif

Nah! I did the same thing, first time I was using OBSE, copy only the .exe file and running the game for couple of days wondering who's fault it is, OBSE or the mods, finally I read it again the "read me" and figure out, LOL!!!

No offense in this matter! biggrin.gif

You actually don't need the editor ones unless you're a modder. smile.gif

the mod works, THANK YOU!! I know I have too many questions, but when I watched the demo video it showed the person duplicating items, and renaming them.. How do I do that??
