So I finally got my blade skill, which is one of my major skills, to 100. Now that it is maxed out, I was thinking of doing "ShowClassMenu" and making blade a minor a skill, so that I can make a different skill a major skill and level up faster. If I make blade a minor skill though, will that make me less effective with it?

it will just make the game crash.... it does it with me if i try to do that

it might reset the skill if it does work but if it doesn't try an attack and see what happens

It doesn't crash sometimes when you do it on first level, but I think that is not that matter

Well, if you DO manage to do that and avoid the crash, then the level of skill actually should get lower by those bonus 20 points for major skills, if that's what you mean. But if not, then 100 blade if major and 100 blade if minor are equally effective in combat.

It never crashes for me..You just set the skills, and before clicking "done" you save the game, exit the current game, and load the game you just saved. The skill changes you set will be changed without changing the values of each skill.
