Alright so a week ago i installed the latest Oblivion Patch..now today i bought Shivering Isles and went to get the patch, i downloaded and it gets to 50% and stops it says theres a missing file after a little bit of searching i found out that i guess you arnt able to use both patches? so am i just S.O.L now or is there someway to uninstall the Oblivion patch and put on the shivering isles one?

Probably not but you could just uninstall Oblivion altogether (making sure to retain your saves of course) and then install SI.

I didn't have this issue, however and I'm surprised that SI wouldn't install over a patched Oblivion.

I'd prefer not to re-install but i guess if nothing else works it maybe worth it..

Yep. Reinstalling Oblivion, then SI then the SI patch is the only solution for this.

sorry if you didn't want to hear that deedsy but the other guys are right reinstalling Oblivion then SI followed by the patch should fix it

If you used the Unofficial patch, there is an uninstall in your start menu.
