Are there any good download managers for the tesnexus website? I've tried to use FlashGot and GetRight, but they always mess up and just download the download.php instead. (I'm using Firefox by the way)

The reason I ask is, some of the downloads are HUGE files, and I am not a fan of downloading huge files with the built-in downloader. I'm not sure if Firefox has got any better since I last tried it, but I prefer a downloading program with error correction and a resume download feature to it.

Any suggestions?

Sorry about my last post got confused when the spell checker asked to run

I use IE7 and can use GetRight sucessfully with small sized downloads but I get the same problem as you for large size downloads. As others are suggesting that GetRight is compatible maybe with have the wrong configuration. Any workable suggestions would be gratefully recieved

My download accelerator isn't supported here either, so I just let the standard Windows Downloader run. On the server for Premium Members, I still get up to 838 Kbps. Perhaps it's a difficult task to configure the servers for different accelerators. *shrugs*

As long as your download manager can handle cookies (4 of the main ones I tried all worked on the one server that download acceleration is enabled) it will work on the London Premium Server. It won't work on any other server.

Thanks for the info, DarkOne. My accelerator opens up to 10 individual channels for downloading files. I'm fairly certain mine would handle cookies. It enjoys a huge user base of well over 100 million people.

The way you have programmed your London Server deserves much praise, DarkOne. I just tried using Download Accelerator Plus Premium Edition to download a large file on your London Premium Member Server.

DAP likes your server. It opened 10 download channels (normal operation), and the speed was phenomenal. Actually hit 1 Mbps for a while. In a word - Wow. thanks.gif

I have also used Free Download Manager successfully in the past.
